this is a little dark so proceed with caution. my mother has had cancer for 9 years, ever since i was seven years old, and when this song came out, she asked me to make sure it was played at her funeral. in the past year her cancer has gotten worse and now she’s asked me to sign something. she knows it’ll be time soon, since the doctor has put her in hospice and she can hardly move. i was planning on this song, and now i can learn it a lot easier. thank you.

avian i am so so sorry. i can't even imagine how you feel. 2/3 of my living grandparents have stage 4 cancer (and both have alzheimer's/dementia as well) which is really hard. my grandpa forgot who i am today. i hope you get the peace of mind you deserve by signing at her funeral. she will be pain free and won't have to fight anymore. she'll always be with you mentally, even if she isn't physically there💕

With sign language facial expressions is very important. You can tell that you know exactly what the songs mean because you put so much effort into your facial expressions and there’s just something about signing songs that give it an extra feeling. I love you so much and can’t wait to see more.

I’m in love with this. I use to country music when I growing up, and I remember when this song came out. I understood the meaning then, and I understand it now.
