27:19 Affliction is highlighted because it has a legal target. The oracle text is "Exile target creature if it has mana value 3 or less", not "Exile target creature with mana value 3 or less". The difference is that you can still target an expensive creature and the spell will resolve, but the creature won't be exiled. It's the same reason why Pyroblast is mechanically different than Red Elemental Blast. Pyroblast can target non-blue stuff (it just won't do anything to non-blue stuff).

It’s crazy that this sort of list is nearly extinct in BO3. Floodpits Drowner makes a joke out of Archfiend, and the bat always gets answered for one mana 😅 I feel like the Bo1 meta can often be ambushed by playing trendy stuff in Bo3. The innovation among tournament players these days is insane 🤔

Thank you for showing me just how hard it is to get to mythic. I have uninstalled Arena several times now because I cannot get out of platinum. I did not realize that it takes 10 hours just to get out of diamond (and maybe the same for platinum?) I've play max 2 hours at a time, cause kids, work, life, etc, and probably never will play 10 hours straight. This has helped me set my expectations, giving me sanity and relief that I'm not as bad a player as I thought.

I only play a few hrs a day and I hit mythic every month. It’s not difficult if you’re a decent player piloting a tier 1 or 2 deck.

The only reason it took him so long is because he did it all in one sitting. He could have stretched those 10-12 hours across the entire month and still made mythic.

it all depends what kinda deck you run and what kinda decks you get against you. my best advice is try mimic some decks from these youtube brews as best as you can and tweak to your liking.there is no real set time for how long it takes to fly thru platinum or diamond. it takes really good decks and some luck.

Great video! -Spoiler alert -- Ok, there’s at least one person who’s is reaching mythic faster than you. They probably are playing best of 3, and probably a less popular format, not standard. I know this is not as popular with KZbin, but you could at least make the experiment of trying best of 3 to see if it’s faster. For science! Anyways, rank 2 is good enough for me, congrats!

MTG I play it since 1998 😀 It can be fun game it is not so easy as many other card games. Too many cards with too much text. I got into mythic as f2p it is possible but you need to be very patient. Doing all daily quests for a long time. Or at least 5 wins. Playing just one or two aggro decks. After many years I can afford to play also few control decks. You can also pay and play any deck you like. I like Ashiok in control and midrange decks.

How on earth did you reach mythic with this deck? Either I flood or am forever stuck on 3 lands, in the games I have hand control I needed removal and in the ones where I needed hand control I draw nothing but removal. With just 4 draw increasing and no deck manipulating spells/ lands this just feels impossible to ever get a good hand with. Respect for getting Rank 2 mythic with this but I think I'll go back to my beloved dimir for climbing and draw all the cards while making everyone else hate their existence ;)
