This is a lie! The people who are supposed to be evicted profited from ethnic cleansing of these areas from jews who lived there before 1948. Their property was property of Arab jews living there who were expelled by Jordanian forces who occupied the area until 1967 and banned them from returning. Israeli law allows for compensation of property if it can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt that this property was robbed from their families years ago. They proved this in the court of law and the palestinian families defended themselves and lost because their only argument was that the law on which this compensation is based, would be unfair. These palestinian families moved into the area long after 1948, it was stolen property given to them by the Jordanian authorities, stolen from jewish families in the ethnic cleansing of East Jerusalem and the West Bank by the Jordanians. You are literally defending ethnic cleansing and then claim to be against it!

Any violent reaction from the Palestinians must be understood under that context. Israel has been the aggressor from day one, and when Palestinians fight back they are labelled as the aggressors instead. It is not the Palestinians who deny Jews to live in that land today, rather it is the Israelis who have always denied the Palestinians the right to their own land

My grandfather has a house in Palestine but we couldn't get there because of complications. we visited this year for the first time in 10 years. according to the neighbors, 5 years ago a few soldiers broke the gate, shot bullets at the lights and broke some of the windows. settled in our house for 40 days. brought in their tanks, cars and weapons. then left as if nothing happened. oh how I wish I was there at that time and rebelled against them. In the 1948 war, Arabs have chased the jewish residents away and invaded these houses and now the real owners who have the deeds and all documentation are getting their property back.
