This line in the song really sums it up for me, imparting a feeling of being excluded, dismissed and misunderstood.
Simple and beautiful….. Tom’s version on Orphans is amazing, it feels like its going to break before the end but somehow makes it……..
Our adaptation for violin and piano has a little more musical elaboration to replace the omission of the lyrics…Please enjoy 🎻🎹
