That would explain why Lute hates Vaggie so much - she feels betrayed by her bestie. That would also make Lute an evil counterpart of Charlie - both felt betrayed by Vaggie. However, Charlie thanks to Rosie's help forgiven her and decided to understand her, while Lute became more hateful towards Vaggie, to the point where she wants kill her more than anything.
