I honestly feel more invested in this version of the story cuz the protagonist version of Adam has a lot to lose if he fails his mission from his life , family , his position as the representative of humanity and the souls of his damned descendants/children . But in Canon if Charlie fails she's just proven wrong about sinners .

YES! I love this! I’m very meh about the original show, but I love these various Swap AUs because they make so much more sense and are actually really smart! My favorite here is undoubtedly Lucifer, not only does his portrayal in this AU as a kind of angel of death who seems to argue against humanity as a prosecutor is a creative interpretation that actually has legit theological merit, but it also retroactively makes his personality in the show make more sense. Like for example, his warped view of Charlie as his perfect little girl who can do no wrong likely spoiled and enabled her to become the twisted little nepo baby bitch she is in this AU. Honestly the only thing that would have made this even better would be if Sera said something to him along the lines of “No wonder mankind calls you the Devil!” when calling him out! (I know I’ve said similar things in the comments of other videos like this but I just love it, it’s so good!)
