Trading isn't like sports. In sports, you expect fair play. In trading, there are traps and fake moves set by the big players. It's basically a gambling game orchestrated by the big players. Those without any strategy and experience lose the most.

What time frame do you trade? Smaller time frames will feel like traps. You are trading against high frequency traders and market makers. Trade a higher time frame is my advice. Also, you want to put your stop loss somewhere where it is hard for the market to hit your stop.

Great video Ben. The confidence to push the button when the setup appears after a losing streak. That was very tough in my earlier years when I lacked the confidence but as time went on and the screen time accumulated it became much easier. Also over the years I determined the type of days I'm really good at and have high confidence. I also know the type of days I'm not good at and cause me to feel stressed. So I hit it harder on days I like and usually just shut down after a couple hours if its the type of day I don't like.

I notice you only seem to trade the NQ, lately I started looking at the higher time frames on about 10 different assets in the futures market in order to find more opportunities which are based on higher time frames to increase probabilities. No but I think it’s more the kind of music. I’ve been a professional sound mixer for years and I hear things that maybe others don’t.
