If she didn't kill that person, she definitely would have killed a different person. Also, she has the power to transform live chickens into chicken fingers by just saying chicken fingers. It implies she is using transfiguration to transform them into chicken fingers, but it's impossible to create food. You can teleport food there, but you can't just create it. She broke the rules of magic itself. You shouldn't be able to do that.

Taking this at face value let's remember that you have to put a lot of emotion, intention, and often hate into both Avada Kedavra and crucio for them to work. Professor Moody said the entire class could try to off him and he would probably not even get a nosebleed. Harry couldn't manage the crucio curse even after Sirius died. Therefore, Silvia is carrying around a vast amount of rage and/or untapped power.

It is more that you must want to murder. The spell wouldn't do much otherwise. A good example would be if you just want to stop someone, hurt them etc, the best way is to club someone hard over the head. But usually the killing is a potential side effect to the goal, not the goal itself. And it must be a whole cold hearted want to slake the life. Anger is not enough, you'd need to want the person/thing dead no matter your emotional state or situation.

I am well aware of the logical flaws etc contained within the series, and I do wish Rowling would have noticed and fixed them - not to mention stopping with book seven and refraining from ruining everyone’s childhoods on twitter - but the original saga itself, absolutely deserves the continuing passion and love it enjoys. As for anything offensive or hateful, the only thing those adjectives could possibly apply to would be Cursed Child, which I do NOT count as part of the main series. My only exception might be that she could’ve tried a little harder not to stereotype Cho. But I don’t see much else to pick apart.
