If I Were Gunned Down By Justice the Poet

August 9, 2014, 18 year old Mike Brown was unjustly gunned down by police officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, MO. Since the incident, no arrest has been made, Officer Wilson is out on paid leave and the racial climate in Ferguson is overwhelmingly unbearable. All across America, protesters have been speaking out against this travesty of justice. FOX News, amongst other networks unfairly portrayed Brown as a common hoodlum and a "thug," sparking social media to react with the hash tag #IfIWereGunnedDown. In conjunction with the #NMOS14 Movement, I decided to take the #IfIWereGunnedDown hash tag and create an audio and visual presentation for the masses to see. I called on my brother, Soar2Fly for him to offer his ingenious camera skills for the project. Together we have created our response to the heinous actions of Darren Wilson, the Ferguson PD, FOX News and all other media outlets who chose to slant the story to create this criminal profile of a college bound, teenage boy who is not here to defend himself. Then let's portray brown as he was. 6ft 4 292 lbs 18 years old. He had just robbed a store and assaulted the clerk used his size to go back and intimidate the clerk then disregarded the laws walking down the street and refused to get out of the street when confronted by a cop then fought with the officer which is a felony then resisted arrest all are crimes he was guilty of within minutes of eachother
