WRONG the difference between first and second degree murder is that first degree murder requires the person to plan and carry out the killing. While second degree murder requires the killing either be intentional or reckless and occur in a spur moment. So technically that is second degree murder because Paper didn't plan the kill and recklessly murdered Balloon.
