We are seeing something with some of these mobile QBs they don’t age well ,Cam and Russel became quite un effective when they lose a step or two we never realized how Russel Wilson’s mobility at extending plays helped him out tremendously,.But they both were in Super Bowls and Wilson won one so there’s an upside to it they just don’t play as well as long.

Abdul Carter at 2. Jaxson Dart at 33. Trade back on pick 2 if worth it. Jalen Milroe if not Dart. I think Dart is just as good as the concensus top 2 and Milroe is not far behind. I would also draft a quarterback late day 3 as a backup/insurance. Cousins/Dart/Kyle McCord plus edge Carter works for me.

For me, a QB has to have 3 things: 1, Processing. Can you read a defense (or can be coached up to be able to read one)? 2. Height. No more short QBs who can't see the field. 6"3' and up are great for me. 3. Mobility. You don't have to be Randall Cunningham or Steve Young out there, but don't let fast NFL defenders beat you into the earth. These are what i would want for a QB.

How oftern does drafting a "Project QB" workout? The key is confirming a free agent QB and get better as coaches "coach em up!" Draft Sanders or trade the pick. Would also prefer Winston over To Geno. The Browns could get the best OL, DL, CB in this draft, if they trade the pick.

The smartest move is to trade the pick. Teams are going to come calling. Especially after Pro days. The Jets, Raiders, and Saints are the most likely callers. If the Cowboys hire Deion then you can throw them in there and that would be a huge haul of picks to go from #2 to #12.

With the #2 pick we either take Carter or trade back for a 1st still within the top 7 land and extra 2nd this year and a 1st next year. Draft BPA at whatever 1st we net for this year. Take Milroe and Henderson with the two seconds we get as well. Then with our later picks we need to address LB and OL as well as adding one more RB like Devin Neal, Kyle Monangai, Raheim Sanders, or Woody Marks.

I don't want somebody that didn't do that well this past season I don't care how fast he is. Howard of OSU has his team in the championship game while all these other QBs have their teams watching from the couch and that is what matters most.
@brianwilliams907315 сағат бұрын
Next season we find out if Arch Manning can process, but he's been trained to be an NFL QB by 2 HOF QBs since his first spiral. He probably knows more about playing QB than 95% of the QBs in the NFL right now. He has size, he has mobility. Trade down this year, but make sure we get a 1st next year. Most likely the 25 season will produce a top 10 pick, then we have 2 first rounds to trade up for 1st overall, and there's Arch. If we don't get that 2nd first next year, we'd have to trade our only first and Myles for the top pick.

If it were me, I wouldn't take a flyer on any of them except maybe the kid out of Ole Miss.. Something about him says he has a lot of upside, like Baker had coming out of college... Id get him in the 2nd round or trade back up to get him if I absolutely had to... Trade down with the 2nd pick, get a second first rounder if possible, or get extra ammo to trade back in to the first and get 2 first rounders, get Dart and the best available O-lineman and Id be ecstatic with that.

One thing I don't like about Browns Fans is that they are always trying to find a later round solution at quarterback rather than taking a risk at the top of the draft. The Browns tried that in 2004 when they passed on Ben Roethlisberger, and they have regretted it ever since. If you have a chance to get the best quarterback in the draft, then you have to take it, otherwise another 12 names will be added to the infamous quarterback jersey over the next few years. 40 names are on that jersey already, the Browns must get a quarterback at #2 and end this nightmare.
@kvngcam671618 сағат бұрын
Which quarterback do you think they should take there? Cause it’s really easy to look from the outside in and say that they should take one, but overdrafting is a thing. It’s good to consider later round players if the top two might not be worth being first round picks, let alone top 2.
@StevenC3218 сағат бұрын
@@kvngcam6716 If Cam Ward is on the board at 2, then I would take him, otherwise they should take Shedeur Sanders. I think after the NFL combine and everyone sees these guys throw, there will be a consensus who the Browns should take at quarterback.

HMMMM mike phipps , tim couch, brady quinn, brandon weeden, johnny manziel ...proves u wrong
@StevenC3217 сағат бұрын
@@chromebikerband6875 Tim Couch was the right choice for an expansion team, the Browns made the playoffs in 2002 due to his and backup Kelly Holcomb's play. But injuries derailed his career. Brandon Weeden and Brady Quinn were not the first picks of the Browns draft that year. In the case of Brandon Weeden, the pick ahead of him was running back Trent Richardson who only played one season with the Browns. As for Johnny Manziel he too was the second of the Browns 2 first round picks, and they wasted their first pick on a Cornerback named Justin Gilbert. Justin Gilbert did not even like playing football and was often late to team meetings and he could not even break the starting lineup and he was gone after the first year. The Browns were forced by the owner to draft Johnny Manziel, he was not an NFL quarterback, everyone but the Browns knew that.

I like Kyle McCord. He beat Cam Ward. He processes quickly and can throw the ball deep into tight coverage if he's not pressured. Have him in combination with a fixed o-line and run game is a winning recipe. Ask Milroe if he wants to be used as a RB/WR/TE/ backup QB and if he agrees get both of them.

The problem with drafting a QB can be what is happening with the Chicago Bears. They have a rookie quarterback in Caleb Williams, the team stinks, and the coach gets fired. Now they have start over again with their quarterback having to learn a new system.

Travis Hunter Milroe Henderson It would give us three stars at pivotal positions. Neither of these three have shown what they are truly capable of. For the Cavs, I will do whatever it takes to get Cam Johnson, outside of trading away Mitchell, Mobley, Wade, Allen, Strus, and Jerome. As I mentioned, Oklahoma and Boston have an average height of 6’4 in their starting lineup, and every player can create their shot and knock down the 3. I'd go: Mitchell Jerome Cam Wade Mobley For my starting five. Especially in those matchups.

I believe that Jalen Milroe is going to be a 1st round pick. His physical talent is just going to be too tantalizing for some team. And the sky is the limit for his ceiling (and the floor is the basement). And honestly, that team might even be the Browns. The Browns have pick #33. It wouldn't surprise me if the Browns traded into the back of the 1st round to draft Milroe and then let him sit this year.

Every year, since 1995, buy some sports cards of qbs that are projected to go in the third round and beyond. I try to get psa9 or 10 for other card collectors that are wondering. I got to be honest it’s rare you get a hit, but not impossible. I spent about 100 bucks on Brady’s back in the day and now I have a down payment on a new house if I wanted. This year my focus is will Howard. You can probably get him in the forth round too. I already invested 500 into his cards. If I’m right and he’s the next Josh Allen I can have another down payment on a house. If I’m wrong Ohio state qbs already sell decently so it’s a safe investment for me and a safe investment for browns in the forth.
