Dot washed Cole on this😂. I won't lie tho, I haven't seen a rapper who's aged better than Cole, One of the few late Peakers, which is werid to say because he was already talented, but he had a lot of catching up to do at this point in time. His made up so much ground on Kenny its actually insane, but has he "caught up" in terms of his technique? I think yes( debatable). He isn't as deep and methodically tho. Dot has alot of patience even compared to Cole. Dot in 7(6 if Cole slacking) for me. Cole still my favourite.

As a Cole fan I agree that Kendrick slayed this beat although Cole did very well for his part too. But you are being disingenuous for trying to compare an 8 year old song to a current scenario. Cole’s pen has deepened and improved so much over the past 5-6 years, it is hard to say that Kendrick would be an automatic win TODAY. Cole has proven his lyrical mastery with peers such as Royce, Benny, Daylyt and Absoul among others on his feature runs. I guess we could look at American Dream by Jeezy which featured both Cole and Kendrick but that may not be a fair comparison either. I am glad Cole chose not to entertain yall this time around with participating in a beef that wasn’t for him. Furthermore, despite his so called pussy move, ain’t nobody has challenged him. I guess if Kendrick feel some kinda of way he’ll pop out for Cole tho, but I suspect they will collab with each other at some point. Regardless, don’t yall think it’s time to move on from these silly comparisons as there is so much incredible music that’s coming out from other amazing artists?

@Novanity_BreezyАй бұрын
@@eneokweobianuju9659What makes the situation worse is that for years, Cole has been claiming to be the king and the best in rap. When he finally faced a challenge from someone who pushed back, he ended up apologizing and now six months later, stating that he’s not the king or anything like that. This directly contradicts everything he’s been saying all along. He also mentioned the "bots," which appears to me to be a jab at Kendrick I might be wrong tho. But It’s ironic because Drake is the one who originally came up with that line to diss Kendrick. So in his songs, he belittled Kendrick while trying to elevate drake, which is just crazy. He even called Kendrick his friend, saying that he didn’t want to engage in a feud with him. If Kendrick is your friend, how can you let someone else persuade you to diss him? It shows you’re not standing by your principles. As a rapper, I respect Cole, and personally, I don’t hold any grudges against him for stepping away from the beef. However, I don’t want to hear him claim he’s number one or that he can beat anyone in a rap battle, especially since he had the chance to prove it earlier. It was Cole who first dissed Kendrick, not Drake. Plus, Kendrick didn’t say Cole was his friend and had no problem going after him in a rap context. You can’t claim to be the best if you’re not willing to clash with someone else who claims the same title.
