my headcannon for Pearl is that after Steven was born and rose/pink "died" she was driven mad with grief to the point where she was altered is some way, either cracked (which would explain an eye-like shape on her gem) or corrupted. Unable to summon her gem weapon, she made a makeshift spear with a stick and a cooking knife and set out for revenge, trying to kill Greg because it was technically his "fault" and likely baby Steven too.

I feel like Steven Universe has one of the biggest potentials to be in the horror genre. These alien creatures, who are treating a half boy half alien, as if their own, despite having a father. They have gems inside their bodies, and mesh together when they fuse. Malachite is definitely the most scariest fusion, with the four legs, hunched back, and four beady eyes. Plus she was made out of hatred. And the Lapis infused nightmares Steven was having, were already creepy enough. Sorry for ranting, Pearl looked perfect!

Yeah!! Octi would be a really good one, especially since octopuses have a lot of aspects that can be really scary (like a sharp beak, bulging and unnatural head and eyes, and tentacles could be used to imply the work of eldritch horrors), and Octi already has a cool, dark color palette, so honestly it wouldn't take that much to make him super creepy.

I loved your design for bubbles! Your interpretation actually made me think up my own! So, instead of a physical monster holding a teddy bear, she would be essentially the same genetics-wise as her original portrayal, and would be holding her stuffed octopus that she has in one episode. In that episode HIM speaks to her through the doll, and I figured the horror version of Bubbles could use this concept just take it to more of an extreme. HIM could speak to her through the stuffed octopus and tell her to do terrible things which she would resist for a while obviously. However no one could hear HIM talking to Bubbles, so no one would believe her. Eventually after a long while of no one believing her and HIM telling her that her family doesn’t like her, they don’t deserve her, etc. Bubbles gives in and turns against her family, and throughout the rest of the story HIM is slowly turning her into a metaphorical monster and manipulating her into doing horrible things that eventually enable HIM to take over, slowly making townsville similar to how it looks in the PPG-less future in that one episode.

The whole scary Bubbles thing made me realize that the Powerpuff Girls could totally be a horror movie with a few adjustments. A scientist tries to create the perfect little girl, but he accidentally spills some Chemical X in the mix, creating three bug-eyed, fingerless children with dangerous powers. Now the citizens of Townsville live in fear of the three horrible monsters that have taken over the city, and Professor Utonium has to destroy his creations before they destroy him.

Pearl was standing in a normal position, 3rd to be exact. A plié is When you're bending your knees. In the creepy version She's standing on pointe (wich is super hard to do, I can speak from experience) in 1st position. If you're not on pointe it's called a relevé.

I just thought of a really good one for the Pikachu one. Pikachu was finally evolving into Raichu after an uncannily long time without evolving, but the evolution had an error (because Pikachu didnt evolve for so long) and it turned into the monster version of Pikachu So probably it could be an alternate universe pokemon movie.

when i think of pearl as scary i think of a scarily tall creature with long arms and sharp claws (kind of like how you made hello kitty's arms just a lot skinnier), giant eyes and a pointy nose- unsettlingly skinny, and can move in odd ways like moving its head all around and bending its arms and legs ways it would be really painful to actually bend them like that. kind of like a horror barbie, how i always thought of creepy pearl as a barbie-ish thing because of her oddly skinny form, it always kinda creeped me out
