to be honest, blunt teeth seem scarier to me if done right. sure, sharp teeth are scary and all, but when a character has a ton of blunt teeth, it just seems more.. unsettling. like it's a human, that just went wrong. it's disturbing. I guess it's maybe that sharp teeth have been done so much that I don't find it as creepy anymore.

EdgyPretzels Well, biologically speaking, creatures with flat teeth are almost always herbivores, whereas creatures with sharp teeth are carnivores. Humans are omnivores, which is why we have sharp and flat teeth. They usually make scary monsters with sharp teeth to emphasize the fact that they tear apart and eat flesh. (i.e you) So, it's probably more unsettling when they have flat teeth because "for the love of every religions holy deity why is this cow eating a person"

Fun fact: When I was around 4 years old, my parents thought this was a kids movie at first. For the next five years, the only monsters that'd ever scared me were this guy, the nurses from Silent Hill and what my mom called the "MooMoo" (The name sounds cute, but she psychologically screwed me with that by saying "The MooMoo's coming for you." when I left my closet door open as a 6 year old.) Well, when my family watched it, my cousin was staying with us and to help me she glued googly eyes on her hands and did it. That scared me until she glued them to my hands and I ran around with them on my face for 3 hours.

I realize that I'm commenting on a lot of your videos all at once, so I apologize for that. But I just discovered your channel today. Fun story about the design of Ghostface; the costume was actually a cheap dimestore ghost costume, and was originally white. The costume director made the call to dye the black parts black. They wanted it to remain cheap-looking, like a costume that anyone could get ahold of. What's more entertaining still, is now you can get cheap, unlicensed dimestore Scream costumes. So it all comes full circle. Great job with the video! I loved it.

So, story time: Once, when I was little, maybe a toddler I was in bed, and since it was thundering outside so much I couldn't sleep when I suddenly saw a black silhouette shaped like a ghost, it looked as if it came through a vent, I can't really remember if it was the vent but it happened in my now Brothers room, anyway I was scared but you know those locks for the doors were on there I started banging on the door and maybe I was hallucinating but I thought I saw the ghost creature moving at the ceiling to where I was, and it encouraged me to open the door, but it never opened so I just blinked and it was gone :/ I was definitely hallucinating. But it never visited me ever again, Just a little spooky story, about my life and it's true but nobody else is there to prove it, and most importantly remember, I was a CHILD so it could not be true.

I think the babadook design makes a lot more sense if you take into consideration that he's a manifestation of the mother's grief and feelings, which makes sense that if those feelings weren't negative he would probably be a representation of motherly stuff (like making cookies).
