Dude i don't even play bass. I play guitar. (Nowhere near as well as you play bass) I am so addicted to your videos. It's literally the most mind blowing musical prowess I've seen in a long time. Bass gets a bad rap (if you've ever been in a rock band you know that) the fact that you chose bass and play it like a fkn virtuoso is such a nice breath of fresh air. Ha, yeah, there are 3-4 songs I've played in a cover or variety band that were one note as well, all riding the low E (one detuned to a D). I was lucky enough to be needed on keyboard for most of them and set that on a tape loop. I probably at one time could've played this (his cover version) as well. I was definitely faster at slap bass, not sure about finger tapping. He'd slaughter me today on bass (while once primary, it is now behind cello, piano and guitar).
