Really sells it right? That clean tone is also spot on. Hope we get Day That Never Comes. Jason’s backup vocals are also just perfect lol. The audience having dynamic reactions to certain sections of songs is also amazing. There were a few instances where he has Jason say “MY APOCALYPSE MOTHER FUCKERSSSS” and something else in another, maybe Broken Beat & Scarred. Just really brings them to life and makes this believable…and I’m just like…how the fuck did you do that?! Magic.

@gannonsmith5807
@gannonsmith5807 6 ай бұрын
@@nikoloznasaridze6328 Yeah but this is live and they play fast songs even faster live, back in these days especially they played most things 10-30% faster including stuff from Justice during the Justice tour, so it's still very realistic, the album version would still be slower on Justice than this performance in this imaginary universe haha. The riffs and especially the songs overall structure and transitions match closer to the more progressive and dramatic leaning nature of justice. Although I could see it fitting on master decently as well.

I urge u to strongly reconsider “best era ever” and look at 86 to 88, James voice is even more aggressive and raspy, so much guttural growl, and the instrumental tracks, almost all 150% tempo and so tight and on point, just a lot of people have trouble converting what they r hearing through the amateur shot, and imaging what it would sound like pro shot. It’s their most seemless era. Seattle 89 is already capturing the beginning of the live downfall of Metallica live.

@@Duarki It's all personal preference. I like 89-92 best
@Duarki
@Duarki 10 ай бұрын
@@agent2face512 of course everything is personal preference, I have a personal preference where I fucking love 99-01. I think no leaf clover, minus human and I disappear r the best songs Metallica has written since justice, and more so I think they r even better because they actually suit where Metallica was at, the slower heavy groove fitted the natural decline of skills with their age, and I think James refound a style that fitted his voice, so his voice sounded more on point then it had even on the black album tour. I think trying to be ‘thrash’ again is the biggest mistake they had, n if they released an album full of songs like the above mentioned, no one would even be talking about James voice because he was writing in a style he could actually perform. but if u r going by performance and skill, and replicating what’s on the album. then 89-91 is already the beginning of the end on film, Seattle 89 itself, is full of those horrible things James does where instead of growling a fried note, he just howls a clean note, lars starting to play fills from no where, and Kirk rapping solos with the wah. 86-88, is the only era where lars plays what’s written, Kirk plays without a wah, and most importantly James can actually fry and rasp all his vocal lines.
