Can’t help but listen to this and think how Metallica just lost something when Jason left. With Jason it was like they had two lead vocalists at times. Jason brought a layer of intensity and aggression to the live shows that hasn’t been matched since. Rob is a monster bass player but even 20 years later I can’t say they’re a better band for him in it. If I had the choice it would be Jason back every day of the week

Love "what if" Metallica AI Metallica covers, this and another channel I listen to have the best versions, what I love about these ones is not only Jason's backing vocals but the vocals and instruments totally match the era, he doesn't sing it one for one like in the official track and just have the AI overlay classic James over it, it has unique pronunciations not present in the official one which really makes it unique and sets it apart, shows you put in time and effort to really get the classic 90's vibe! awesome work! I think with the advances in text to GIF/video we may even get an AI cover of Metallica actually playing these things live again as if it did happen in the 90's or whatever other classic 'Tallica era!

Seeing some comments about the tempo being to high on this. Have you all actually watched the whole Seattle '89 show? They killed it that night, but the whole damn set was played faster than album speed. Its probably got the fastest version of Bell Tolls ever, and by the time they got to Whiplash and Battery, the speed was off the charts. This sounds exactly the way it would have sounded, had they played it that night.
