@@theskunkatthegardenparty No one of these men has any incentive to lose. Mike has plenty of money and losing to a KZbinr will only tarnish his name. He has absolutely no reason to sell this fight. Jake Paul is likewise plenty rich himself and he wants to prove -in his own twisted mind at least- that he can get in the ring with a real boxer. He wouldn't want to lose because losing to an old man would seriously damage his boxing aspirations. Therefore this whole idea of the fight being fixed is just a conspiracy theory. This fight is stupid and irritating but its not fixed.

Ask Michael Moorer if Big George’s power was the last thing that saved GF’s ass. George was slow, old, and an absolute punching bag in that fight. A one-two later he was HW Champ. It was his “last thing” left and the “only” thing that worked.

Foreman still had good timing and distance, and good power, but he was 45 and not 58 like Mike will be. People watching Mike post 3 second clips of him dancing around some pads and think he's still got it, too easily fooled. I don't think power is the last thing to go, maybe strength is. David Haye good example, explosive fighter like Mike and he wasn't even 40 and his body was falling apart, his explosiveness withered too. Mike wasn't a brute strength "power" fighter like Foreman, he was an explosive fighter who relied on speed and agility. That speed and agility was already gone 20 years ago, it's definitely not there now.

People actually think 58 year old, daily stoner, walking stick using Mike Tyson is going to beat an athletic 27 year old who has been dedicated to boxing for what, 6 years? Anderson Silva does not hit as hard as Mike Tyson, and I don't think Tommy Fury does either. Mike is probably just too old to land the old right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut. Young Tyson would literally have killed Jake Paul inside the ring, so no one wants to admit that the baddest man on the planet who turned into a wise, authentic old man, isn't the warrior he once was. We want to remember him in the ring as the destroyer we knew. Conflating wants with beliefs. They will limit Tyson to the point he won't be allowed to even give a jab. Jake, you imposer. If you want to only fight retired guys, at least fight straight up you holding on fake. This could possibly be the end to professional boxing if IRON MIKE doesn't knock this guy out in the 1st or 2nd round. Yes I've watched this fake internet guy fight and it's a disgrace to boxing. Here's the thing, Chael. He said that because Tyson is a legendary Ko artist. He may be 57, but he damn sure is just as dangerous as ever for the first 9 minutes of the fight. The odds are he'll brutalize Paul quickly-which will be his gameplan, because its always been that Gameplan with Tyson. Paul is not a natural Heavyweight, and if you think Silva hits like Tyson-well that's just dumb. No Offense, but comparing an arm puncher to one of the greatest Ko artists in HW history is not logical. Tyson has nothing to fear from Paul. I pick the old man to smooth sleep his ass if the ref doesn't step in. If Tyson can't get it done in three then he'll likely cruise to a close win or loss on the cards depending on how serious he is in the lead up to the fight. Paul has nothing that will phase Tyson. His right is all he really has and that ain't no real weapon to a true HW, no matter how old he is. That said, we can't rule out a gentlemen agreement behind closed doors to keep it civil on both parts. Paul ain't stupid and Tyson has grown soft mentally as he has aged. They may be partnered to make bank After all, this isn't the fight game- it's entertainment and the show ends if Paul get's slept by an old man. lotsa reasons to handshake under the table here-just saying. That's exactly what happened in the Jones fight.

Mike Tyson is Authentic/Unique (if i said that right) with his boxing skills, always had a height & reach 'disadvantage' but made it his advantage. Mike is a guy that wont back down and puch Jake to the corner the first 3 rounds and will come dangerousely close to a K.O.

Mike Tyson was only 38 yrs.old and he couldn't hurt or knockout a big slow third tier boxer named Kevin McBride almost 20 yrs. ago. In fact he QUIT on the stool in the 6th rd. He's now 57, hasn't fought in all that time, smoked 1000's of joints and gained 20-30 lbs easy. Look at the tape and you will see that if Jake Paul can last the first 3 rds. he will have a very decent chance of winning the fight. Give me 42-1 odds like the Buster Douglas fight and I promise I will lay a $1000 bet on Jake Paul.
