Hopefully, none of the thousands of Dylan fans.. neither those of us about to die nor our youngers, perhaps WAITING FOR THE FIREBALL in the style of that classic name-dropper of an "e e cummings" poem.. hopefully no offense taken, if one would be so bold so as to say: There is NO SUCH THING as a Bob Dylan original version. One can almost hear him chuckling. Time out of Mind. The chicken or the omelette. Mike Bloomfield.. Larry Campbell.. or Charlie Sexton? Then she said.. no matter how great you are, man.. you'll never be greater than yourself. And I'm just like that bird.. Sitting on a barbed wire fence. Some on their way up.. some on their way down.
