this is one of my favourites so far. i love the technological stuff like adjusting the radio signal, and inputting the changed frequency to an old DOS shell dialogue box. the verisimilitude is off the charts. I remember this machine back in the 80’s. Basically, everybody at my school had one, and would always brag about it to people that didn’t. I got tired of people bullying me for not owning an Oculus, so I decided to purchase one, for $600, which honestly is pretty cheap. I loved playing the game “Roller Coaster” on the headset, but sometimes, the weird tracking cubes would die, and I would have to refill them with new battery’s. Personally, I’m not sure if anybody else remembers this fun gem, but I sure did, and it was a blast when I was a kid. Thanks for the nostalgia!

VR did exist in the 70s and 80s with graphics just like this video. They were originally used for professional tech enthusiasts with thousand dollar pcs. In the 1990s, VR first started appealing to consumers with lower end gaming versions such as the Philips Scuba and Forte Technologies VFX-1 headset at $800. I'm surprised that so many people never did research on the history.
