Why are so many mad at this man!? He lost his son and doggedly pursued justice. Any father ( or mother) would do the same thing. I admire the fact that Fred just refused to go away, and finally made the world aware of not only OJs guilt but also his character. His son was butchered, the man can talk all he wants if it gives him sone sort of peace.

How did I decide he was guilty once the story broke? It was easy--if the cops told me that my wife was dead, I would immediately ask, "What happened!? How did she die!? Was it a car accident? Are our kids okay?" O.J. didn't ask ANY of those questions. He got away with brutally slaughtering two people, period.

It was really nice to watch the look on O.J.'s face when the sentence was being read. It was when he finally realized that justice, a little delayed perhaps, finally caught up with him. It's unfortunate that the Brown's and Goldman's had to wait so long. The wheels of justice turn slowly sometimes but at least in this case they never stopped moving.

Exactly how do you plant shoes ON a guys feet!? His behaviour in the civil trial, esp the deposition was so contradictory to what he was saying before. He could not account for his whereabouts, the origin of the cut, he totally recanted on hitting her ( plead guilty previously), and the list goes on. Al Cowlings, Robert Kardashian, Ron Ship, all distanced themselves from him, I wonder why that is!? Plus Fred Goldman has money, I don't think he really cared about money he wanted justice for his son. I don't see how anyone could take issue with this man, he wanted justice and simply wouldn't quit. Any parent who has a child murdered would do the same ( or worse)
@tommypetersen2540

+Steven Stone yeah you're so right. I just don't get it. Here in Toronto we obviously also have racial tension but it is unfortunately way worse in the states ( sadly). When the trial was going on I never picked up just how major a player the race card could/ would be. It drives me nuts that if you're white and think OJ is guilty you're a racist or rather all the authorities involved with the case were. Why can't people regardless of ethnicity look at this case logically. So many at the time looked at this as a racial victory and would completely ignore the facts, even after the civil trial and insist he was framed, maybe I'm naïve but to me that's just infuriating, I mean who else could it possibly be!? Argh!!!! Now I'm getting mad again. Your comments are so well thought out, and the responses I see towards you are all emotion, filled with insults but no factual rebuttals. Drives me nuts!!!

Tommy Petersen I agree. In Toronto, the racial tension is nowhere near the same as it is in the states. The negative posts, and insults towards the Goldman's are mostly from the fans of OJ. They would rather believe he was "framed" than look at the hundreds of pieces of evidence that point to only OJ.To believe OJ's blood was "planted" a day before he gave a blood sample (the day AFTER the murders) they would have to also believe Fuhrman and the LAPD cut OJ's left finger on the night his ex-wife and Ron were butchered. Just absurd.

Sure the Goldmans have or come from. money. So what!? Fred Goldman obviously used that money to pursue this man for years. Wealth does not equal character or the lack of it. Fred did what ANY parent would do. The fact that he didn't try to kill OJ in the civil deposition still surprises me. Can you imagine being three feet away from the man who took your sons life!? People forget that this is not a movie, two "real" people died. OJ is such a narcissist that I have a weird feeling that the new TV series may just push him over the edge. The guy seems to just hate not being believed.

I believe someone thinks they'd be justified in killing a wanton killer. But OJ was framed and the planted evidence fooled the Goldman's. Like OJ said, he is innocent and so won't be paying one cent for that wrong verdict. Now we know how he was framed.

Ben Theredonethat 1. The special cult marks on the body. 2. OJ wasn't bleeding on his way to Chicago. 3. They are desperate to cover up that Nicole asked her mother to leave her glasses so she culd give Ron an excuse to come over. It was all set up. 4. Jill Shively saw someone who looked like OJ in the bundy area around 10:50 p.m. with nearly identical license plates. Not a coincidence. But OJ was confirmed to be at home at that time. This proves the conspirators used a double as part of the conspiracy -- which makes perfect sense. Perfect sense! I wish I had thought of it, in fact! But they say "a good conspiracy can never be proven." So it's like the JFK assassination; lots of hints who must have been involved but no way to prove it. So this case will be the same. The best we can do is just establish the HYPOTHETICAL frame based on the actual evidence. For instance, the blood at the crime scene. Did OJ cut himself and drop the blood or did someone get that blood from his doctor's office? Hypothetical. 99% of the people will never believe it, but HYPOTHETICALLY he could have been framed. All it would take would be to drug him during the time of the murders and cutting him on the hand. OJ would say he didn't do and he was at home sleep at the time and that he has no idea where how he cut his hand. Nobody would believe him, even though he would be telling the truth. But we have to ask WHY. Why woldn't be give OJ the benefit of the doubt, the "presumption of innocence"?

Isn't it coincidence that the murders occurred almost to the day of when Fred's wife's first husband, convicted racketeer and former IL State's Assistant Attorney Marvin Glass was convicted and sentenced in a drug dealing case involving $100 million in drugs? Isn't it interesting that Fred married his new wife 6 months after her husband was convicted? I've always said that the target was Ron Goldman, and Nicole Simpson was just collateral damage. Strangely, all his buddies met the same fate.

God bless you Fred. I have always felt so bad for you and your family knowing what you have had to go through. The fact that OJ was aquitted is one of the most embarrasing and pathetic events of american judicial history...

When retitling the book they should've taken the word "if" out of the book's title completely.

Maybe they couldn't because of some legal issue. I'm sure they would have if possible. They made the "If" very tiny and added the subtitle "Confessions of the Killer".

I would be surprised if OJ moves even a few thousand copies of his book. Here in Canada, no major chains will carry it or display it. It will only be available by special order. Not perfect, but at least the morbid-curiosity impulse buyers will be shut out, which I feel will be the overwhelming majority of buyers. I hope I'm not proven wrong.

By all means, let's watch the show...we need to know what happens when the courts let a murderer go free and be ashamed as we hear his virtual confession on television.

If my son was a black belt in karate, young and fit I would never think that an old, X football player with terrible knees would be able to kill my son! I would be looking for a fit X pert knifmen that was capable of taking the beating that Ron gave to the real killer or killers. I would never say my son was killed by OJ Simpson who hated the sight of blood. Ron was a warrior and he met a true warrior that night and both of them had to be injured beyond recognition. No way OJ Simpson had that type of aggression left in him to kill Ron with a close combat type weapon as a knife. I wouldn't disrespect my son in that way I would want him to be remembered as a guy who kicked his attackers ass before he expired. OJ had zero effects from a brutal ass kicking that Ron dished out.

Fred Goldman needs to experience what blacks went through in the South many years ago. Maybe then that would shut him up.
