The original engine sound for the Carrera is the main engine they use for Porches. That and/or thats the closest engine sound they could found in the files yo match the real life counter part.

And call me weird but I kinda prefer the original engine sounds. Here's the reasons: 1. Since many of the cars have the exact same engine sounds as others, you have a wide variety of cars to pick that have your favorite engine sound (example, Volkswagen XL Sport and Infiniti Project Black S both have my favorite engine sound) 2. This game is mainly focused on arcades instead of irl. These engine sounds give out an arcade-like feeling to the gameplay because it's unrealistic but still sounds somewhat related to the real counterpart. (Example Midnight club 3 also does this) 3. And of course, it's nostalgic to listen to these engine sounds. But yes, there should be a way to make your cars sound like their real counterparts

So I would also say that the engine sounds are not the most important thing but still would be a nice touch if gl ever gonna consider it. To me that may make almost every car unique but it will take some effort. And yeah I just want to try out something new to see how well can I do it. A note about Asphalt 9's car engines. I've tried this on all the cars I've owned. I don't know why, but they all had a 5-speed manual transmission system. In other words, cars don't even have anything to do with the number of gears that actually exist. I noticed this when I listened carefully to the sounds of shifting gears. But no lie, when I was younger, I used to play with cars, only with the same car sound that I make with my mouth XD So frankly, it doesn't bother me that the engine sounds are the same. I'm just going back to when I was little

I can only imagine that if they decide to make the car sound more true to the cars, there is going to be a lot of bugs in the game. The update they dropped this week at the time of me typing this, the car I picked for the race changed from one other car to the actual car I chose. This is unrelated to the game but my pro controller is drifting too, so I'm enjoying this update.

@@SSKH999 yeah that’s what I did though. I recorded the engine sounds from another game and then used it over the gameplay. The challenging part is that I tried to match the sounds with what’s going on in the gameplay like drifting, going airborne and even 360 as well
