Normally I hate having to say that "new < old", but here.. I cannot deny. It's not because the actual car sounds are lacking, per se, but *everything else is.* There's no wind or road noise, no wooshes, the bass and treble are normalized or clamped. MW05's RX-8 had grunt and bass even if it was a high-revving rotary. Unbound just has it buzz with little actual punch. It's demoralizing honestly

Clearly you don't understand how sound works. The engine sounds in MW were recorded inside the engine bay. Unbound's engine sounds are true to the original with directional audio, and are recorded from the outside of the car as you would hear it.

Theory on why they never used some of the modern counterparts of the original ones is that because these are NOT the original blacklist members, either they were only recruited other people by razor and use their own cars and make their liveries that way or just a bunch of big fans that wanted to pay tribute to their idols or something

Looks like it wasn't just a theory, since one of the drivers names is written on the car (a certain Shimizu if i remember correctly, on the "JV" Ferrari). The problem is: they decided to make them as the OGs blacklist, despect using cars that doesn't matches the OGs style from MW 2005 (i mean, come on, there are even modern versions of the same cars IN GAME). This proves again, imho, how EA doesn't give a shit about its own products, reducing them to mere, and quite poorly implemented, fan service. I envy the ones that are actually enjoying this update, i really do.

If I recall correctly, "Chase" is also written on "Earl's" car. I guess I can understand why the Lakeshore racers want to pay respects to the Blacklist. Getting into the Blacklist, one doesn't only have to be a good racer, they also have to actively pick fights against the police. Cost to State, Trade Paint, Pursuit Length, among other things. Gotta have the stones to do it.

Other then window tints not being 100% like Taz's, Baron's and Bull's red tints or Earl's yellow tint, this is good. Also the SLR was mostly developed by McLaren depsite the Mercedes-Benz branding and body so I would've made Bull's car a McLaren, still good tho

Nice video There's some nice improvement on the cars. But sometimes I don't understand the car change like for Taz, where's the lexus ? I mean you could have take the lexus RC. Bull lost is slr mclaren. And Vic's supra I leave you the choice, the mk4 or mk5 i don't care but taking the gt86 nah. For Webster I'm not sure of the generation of the corvette but why not a C7 zr1. Some others I really like them like Earl getting an evo 9, baron a new Porsche, Ming having a Huracan, ect

Lexus is the luxury brand of Toyota. Since EA had lost the Toyota license after NFS 2015, that also means the Lexus license is expired too. That explains why Taz has a BMW E30 instead of a Lexus IS300 and Vic has a Nissan 350Z instead of the Toyota Supra MK4. As long as EA and Toyota don't find an agreement for a license deal, Toyota/Lexus will not comeback in NFS.

Love the community fixed the car list better than the developers by most of the list the cars were an upgrade. Sonny and Taz got screwed over sonny 2004 golf gti downgraded to a 2000 Honda civic and for Taz a 2002 Lexus is 300 into a 1990 MBW M3 e30 they got screwed over hard
