I thought it would be fun to try replacing the songs on The ReVe Festival: Finale with songs by other artists! Even though Red Velvet's discography is irreplaceable to me, I think there are songs that match the theme of their releases. @@YeriPotter I think they might try a cat concept. Like, it sounds weird, but they keep using cats in their instagram accounts. They might do a red concept with a cute wonderland concept (WHICH WOULD BE AMAZING - and it makes sense with their Red Chapter Album - might be new album) or can do a femme fatale cat concept. It's just some crazy theory I have, but I guess we'll just have to wait until March/April/May/June/July :(((

I don't know whether only girl groups r taken into account but definitely TXT can pull off red velvet songs well...... I even find the both groups weirdly similar even though they r miles different from each other. A lot of people also say that TXT is a Male Red Velvet in 4th gen Maybe it's coz of how easily they pull wide range of concepts while on an deeper level being creepy.

This is a good selection of songs, I like them all. Also it's been awhile since I've heard 10 seconds since I haven't listening to any of their music since what happened, so it was a bit of a surreal experience.

I couldn't imagine a song that would replace a masterpiece that is Sunny Side Up (my favorite kpop song of all time so far). But Why So Lonely is a truly worthy opponent (it's probably my favorite song from a 2nd gen group).

If I would be making my own version of the ReVe Festival: Finale, but with songs from other artists, here are the songs in the tracklist: 1. TWICE - Cry For Me - I chose this song because in my opinion, it sounds like it can be a song in the ReVe Festival: Finale. 2. BLACKPINK - Love To Hate Me 3. Taylor Swift - the 1 - I chose this song because the song also conveys the sense of nostalgia. 4. AOA - 10 Seconds 5. Yubin - Lady 6. Girls' Generation - Dancing Queen 7. Secret - Shy Boy - I chose this because just like Love Is The Way, this song also has a 50s vibe to it. 8. Taeyeon - All Night Long (feat. Lucas of NCT) 9. Katy Perry - California Gurls - I chose this song because it also gives off a strong summer anthem vibe, like Umpah Umpah, and it is a perfect fit. 10. Girls' Generation - My J - I chose this because this song also has a really cute and whimsical vibe and in my opinion, it sounds like it can be played at the Disney parks, especially during the parades. 11. April - Paradise 12. Nature - I'm So Pretty 13. f(x) - Ice Cream 14. Wonder Girls - Why So Lonely 15. Orange Caramel - A-ing - I chose this because the song really has a cute, weird and quirky vibe. 16. MAMAMOO - Piano Man But anyways, I would like to see Red Velvet doing a horror concept that is inspired by the 1980 slasher film, Prom Night in the future.

am i late ?? yeah whatever 😅 i think most of the replacement was hit-or-miss. dont get me wrong (dont blame ya tho , it's red velvet here LOL), even myself can't find any suitable songs for... yeahh put asides their entire discography, even if it's just reve festival finale only it would still be very difficult. like : - girs day darling is more powerful than the original reve song, maded it too much. - u can't replace sunny side up by just throwing any reggae based song, don't get me wrong i mean WSL is a good song, but it just can't , the closest song to sunny side up may be is shadow by fx ( put aside the song lyrics and message, then make it reggae). both have these y'know the magical feel when u listened to it.
