Anyone ever think that if Gudao were to become a BEAST candidate, what sin would he be? I mean Ritsuka is essentially doing Alaya's work throughout arc 1, one can view it that he was Alaya's BEAST and in Arc 2 he was basically a BEAST going through the Lostbelts and testing the humanity of that world whether they deserve to continue existing or not which is what BEASTs are for. And he 'loves' his phh enough to destroy other humanity, so he definitely qualifies as a BEAST candidate. edit: I'm planning to write a fanfic with this concept so it would help a lot for some opinions

My ideal ending for FGO would be a lostbelt representing all the trauma Ritsuka went through. The ending to his story would be him facing a reflection of himself and his own feats manifested through his guilt and regrets

The idea of the protagonist we've been playing all this time suddenly turning into an antagonist that we have to defeat... hmm. We see that they overcome their deep-seated fears of being replaced and fading into obscurity in Lostbelt 6. However, they could still theoretically at some point... when the story is reaching its last page and the journey's end is at hand... finally break and refuse to hand Proper Human History back to the corrupt powers that be. We see at the end of Arc 1 that there is nothing left for Ritsuka when all is said and done. In the world of Magecraft, they remain a nobody and given the opportunity to change the world for the better rather than return it to its broken state... well it's certainly tempting for someone who stores Holy Grails en masse to rebel.

I think Ritsuka would have a lostbelt set in Antarctica or where ever Chaldea is located. I think the lostbelt would be a sort of thematic melting pot of aspects of all the other lostbelts. Like Ritsuka has to perform similar acts to those of Skadi, goes through some sort of immortality thing like Qin Shi Huang, and he slowly becomes bitter and hateful like Morgan. I think the cause for his lostbelt would be would be Fou not being able to resurrect Mash after the fight with Goetia. Also his servant would be Galahad or Da Vinci Alter.

Interesting idea there, making Fou's decision the turning point. Imagining like a scenario where Fou remains unconvinced about humanity's value, doesn't revive Mash and eventually awakens as Beast IV. Unlike Koyanskaya he'd be a full-fledged Beast, and I'm imagining a Lostbelt where he "succeeds" and permanently alters the planet. Chaldea holds out as the last bastion of humanity as it once was, but it's a stalemate at best, more of a slowly losing battle. This is what makes it a dead-end timeline for humanity that would be pruned under normal circumstances. As for Ritsuka's servant/the Lostbelt King, with Mash dead I would imagine Ritsuka having someone else that reflects the situation they're in --- a normal person with the weight of the world on their shoulders, and with the situation being more dire than ever here would need to take on more power and responsibility than they were ever meant to have. Wonder which servant would best fit the bill here.

@@sonokawarayBased on what you suggested maybe Emiya Archer or Alter, maybe an actual servant version of Rin or Sakura, a servant version of Hakuno from Extra, or maybe Sieg? Fou would most definitely be the Lostbelt King. I think that Galahad and a potential Da Vinci Alter would be their additional lostbelt servant minions. I'm just giving suggestion that I think might be interesting. I think Shiro Emiya comes closest to fitting the suggested requirements, but there might be a protagonist or character from another Type Moon series that may work better.

One of the other protagonists-turned-servants would be an interesting idea though. In any case, I'm imagining a version of them supercharged by Chaldea to give them the necessary power to keep Beast IV at bay, at a huge cost of resources that doesn't exactly make life for the surviving humans all that great.

I can imagine a lostbelt where an Alternate Alaya that was formed from the the memories of all the previous adventures as the Lostbelt King in the form of Mash fully realised with every Servant Ritsuka has bonded with being there as enemies instead and the Lostbelt itself will be like the Draco Event where you gotta go through ruined versions of previous lostbelts and the singularities, defeating everyone who aided you and your allies would be Counter Guardians sent by the Alaya we know to aid you. for me, the lostbelt that Ritsuka would rule would be a combination of the concept of time and history itself since the whole Solomon/Goetia arc was literally Time-Travelling into incorrect Pillars of Major Points in History and correcting them and with Ritsuka also embodying the role Humanity's last and greatest defender. the Servant i see Ritsuka forming a contract to rule his lostbelt with being a Divine being would be Lancer Altoria, who gained Divine status wilding the sacred lance and being her country's last and greatest defender or the Greek Titan Cronos who literally could be called the God of Time and all of the servants that help Ritsuka in this lostbelt could be the manifestation of being the Last and Greatest Defender or embodying time itself. the location of said Lostbelt could resemble Chaldea which has the technology for Time-Travelling, the Temple of Time which was a key location for Goetia's plan to work and real life locations on earth that play a key role in understanding the concept time. this is just one way i see Ritsuka's lostbelt would be based on and what his potential servants that help him would be like. So, Fujimaru loses EVERYTHING, hence it turning into a LostBelt, and Mashu, feeling the anguish of losing alongside Fujimaru, would Class Change from Shielder to Avenger, and be Rituska's LostBelt King (Queen, in this case).

So I love the idea of it being a normal word for the lostbelt, and if we go along with that thinking. I think ritsuka servant would be nyarlathotep, why I say this is because in the Cthulhu verse, it has a main body that is outside the verse and a human body on earth. So nyarlathotep can totally work in a normal world, and it np is maybe teleporting the servants outside of the universe and defeating them with its main body. Or the second idea is the lostbelt made up of all of ritsuka experience, but the servant would still be nyarlathotep, but in their main body. Since the lostbelt be the definition of chaos and would fit alongside nyarlathotep being the crawling chaos. And this version of the np would be nyarlathotep just showing you what it has in store for the world or nyarlathotep would just hit you with every type of concept (since nyarlathotep is an outer god, it is above concepts.) Like seriously if nyarlathotep was ritsuka servant, all of the other lostbelt better be worried. Only one I think would stand a chance would be lb seven with ort, but if you read up on nyarlathotep, then you know how smart they are. So they could definitely come up with a way to defeat ort. As for nyarlathotep class, they can obviously be a foreigner. or a beast, Why I say this is because of how nyarlathotep views humans and nyarlathotep is the "most" human like out of every outer god. Also this ritsuka could be way more of a planner then normal ritsuka, we see how smart ritsuka is in the heat of a moment scenario. So add nyarlathotep to that mix and you got one of the most horrifying servants and master pairing.

Hmm, if Ritsuka were to have a lostbelt of his own then he would be able to realize his potential as a Beast due to the extreme mental toll of all of the ordeals he went through with Mash as his side as his lostbelt King who will still be a Shielder class Servant who would be the only one who would be immune by the effects of the lostbelt that would pretty much render nearly all Servants who enter near impotent that which would later turn out to be a reality marble that Ritsuka subconsciously created and used as a dumpster to store all the trauma and guilt he endured in his mission. So pretty much we will be teaming up with Dante, Abby, Kiara and Oberon to deal with the grim situation at the back of Ritsuka's head.

An interesting Lostbelt for Ristuka would be the world of DDD, that novel that Nasu didn't finish. Modern world with no magic, but everybody has the "Demon Virus," so you have average people who could punch through servants with no training. Lostbelt King would be what if Rituska became a "True Demon" from that world to keep it going. He'd have something similar to command spells, but for the "demonized" humans. So basically, he's the one master on planet of pseudo-servants.

I think, were I to design a Ritsuka Lostbelt, I'd bring in the Fate Extra lore. In this timeline the Moon Cell would've fallen to Earth after the moon itself fell to Earth ending the world. The Alien God's seed got digitized into its reality creating its own Fantasy Tree, after which Ritsuka would be placed in it. Ristuka - in this scenario - would agree to become a Crypter in a moment of weakness out of his fear of his imminent death, but I can't imagine the subsequent guilt not crushing him. So much so that his Lostbelt King then elects to erase his memories of everything related to Lostbelts and Chaldea, to make him believe he's just another mundane participant in this world. The crux of resolving the Lostbelt would ultimately rest in getting Ritsuka to consciously confront his own actions. As to the identity of the Lostbelt King, someone like Kazuradrop seems the most blatantly obvious, but you could really go wild with the Servants in this Lostbelt.

Better candidate for this kind of hypothetical is honestly Mash. She was literally almost a Crypter, was in Team A, and would have been an excellent candidate for this kind of thing. Ritsuka would have probably made a contract with Galahad anyway, probably using himself as the host and becoming a Pseudo-Servant, a la the flashback/dream we see Olga have in the OVAs, and that would give him access to the Round Table, the Summoning Circle, all of the servants he made friends with, even giving him a chance to literally fight WITH them through all the crazy adventures he had, but would ultimately pit him against Mash as a Crypter. To me, THAT is a crazy alternate story that I would LOVE to see. Can you imagine how different Mash would be as a Crypter, given that unlike the other Crypters, who had defined personalities, goals, and flaws prior to becoming Crypters, Mash was mostly a blank slate? She would be "learning" most of the lessons about what it means to be alive from the test-runs that the Crypters had to do through the Singularities in Act 1, but colored by the people she'd be around, like Beryl, Akuta, Kadoc, etc. She'd likely be a real menace and her approximation of humanity would reflect on the Lostbelt she would govern in a really interesting way.

I think this would be a great story for arc 3 of the FGO, maybe Ritsuka was mind control by something turning him into someone who wish for things to go back to the way things was before learning about magic and stuff like that, making him reject magic and everything magic based in the series, with him rejecting the natural world and wanting to go back to the world he had in his mind in the past that he would make a Lostbelt that is like “normal” earth but it would be different, it would feel off, it would feel entirely unnatural because it is, this world wouldn’t exist because it go against the natural order of the universe. (I am sorry if this didn’t make any sense i just wanted to tell people my thought on the subject)

Then you tackle both the idea that the world is “normal” because everyone/thing has access to this power, and still have some sort of fantasy element to the lostbelt where even though it’s mostly normal you still feel like something’s off/wrong

What about his personal Servant? Every other Cryptor had one so hypothetically speaking the MC should have one too. Obviously Mash is out of the question since she's loyal to Chaldea, so who else could take her place? Since this hypothetical takes place before thwy officially enter part 2 then the only Servant available that he bonded with is limited but I feel like out of all of then Eresh is a perfect choice. Not only did she form a strong bond with the MC but there's also the fact that her whole deal is that she's the mistress of the underworld, the goddess of the underworld. She's essentially associated with death which is a natural part of life so I don't think it contradicts the normal world of this hypothetical Losbelt. So not only does it make some degree of sense but it would also be cute and wholesome to see Eresh being able to live a normal everyday life along with the person she has the most affection for in the world. But since it's the MC then they don't NECESSARILY need to be limited to 1 Servant like the other Cryptors, in all honesty he since this is his Lostbelt then hypothetically he could have any number of Servants that he has bonded with in part 1.

The personal servant would be determined by exactly when History Diverged from it's intended course. I feel like that wasn't brought up enough in this video. My idea? Solomon. Because in order for a world with no Mystics, no mana, and no Holy Grail, something has to either prevent those things from existing or eradicated them in their entirety. And the only Person that has shown to carry that much power and performed a similar feat would be Solomon with his third NP. Plus, it would perfectly represent Fujimaru's desire to return everything back to normalcy that his LB King would be one of his closest friends that he lost on his journey. And the personal irony of this is that because of Solomon's actions to create this Lostbelt, he'll never be able to experience life as a normal human ever because he'd be the sole surviving magical being in the Lost Belt.

If I had to guess, the break off point would be Nobunaga. Since Ritsuka is Japanese and Nobunaga was all about the power of the common man. Except maybe Nobunaga goes full Demon king and takes over with their full ambition. Then Ritsuka would have all the Japanese servants and deities at their disposal. Though a world run by Fate Nobunaga and Ritsuka would be wild.

We learn in Lostbelt 6 that Ritsuka feels like they’ve dedicated so much of their life to fighting for humanity that now, with Kadoc back with Chaldea, they’re not sure what to do with themself and are worried what will happen if they’re no longer needed. You could definitely base a Lostbelt on that fear of being replaced/having no purpose. Maybe a world where Tiamat successfully replaced most of humanity with the Lahmu and the surviving humans have to grapple with the fact that they’re no longer needed by the planet? Or a world where we’ve mostly been replaced after an alien invasion. Or where we modified ourselves into living weapons for a war that’s now over and we don’t know what to do with ourselves. Probably the Lostbelt should be tied in with the mythology of some indigenous North American/Australian/African culture, since none of the Singularities/Lostbelts really explored those settings.

Wouldn't the world kinda look the way the backgrounds do back in LB6 when Ritsuka and Castoria are stuck inside the necklace? A mix of all the locations he's been in, but much more regular-looking, Including all the people we lost, the yaga, the children, etc.? Lb King could be Innana/Ishtar(strange fake), Abby, or a grail powered Galahad Alter somehow (banking on the constant holy grail wars idea somewhere in the comments)

I feel like Ritsuka's Lostbelt would be a simulation. Where in the video someone mentioned a lostbelt based on pre-singularities with no mana or mystics. Where any servant and human that enters the lostbelt would assimilate to his world and live the life that is in accordence to their character. For example: Osakebehime is a mangaka; Suzuka Gozen is a Japanese high school girl; Emiya is a chef; Jeanne is a nun. Nobunaga is a chunnibyou and so on. The lostbelt tree can be some form of architectural design that people wouldn't notice. In addition, the video also mentioned a Gundam world, I'll take it further of being similar to SSSS: Gridman.

An alternative version of events where Ritsuka is killed along with the rest of Chaldea and the 7 Lostbelts fight each other for dominance would be very interesting. Imagine Zeus, Godjurna, Morgan, Kukulkan, Skadi, Ivan and Qin Shi Huang going at each other with full force.

@@ern1609 Well, actually it's pretty much stated that if Chaldea hadn't intervened, that Zeus and Olympus would have won, although at the time, Morgan hadn't become Lostbelt King of Britain, and I don't think anyone knew about Kukulkan at the time. Regarding Morgan, she's kind of like the Batman of the Lostbelt Kings in that on her own, she's one of the weaker ones all things considered (she's definitely the squishiest out of all of them), but with the right preparations, she can punch well-above her weight class with things like Rhongomyniad.

I have to admit I’m not 100% up to date with FGO, but I have to admit that this point? “Ritsuka’s Lostbelt” might as well be Chaldea since it’s made by humans and even the initial Storm Border was pioneered by Da Vinci, who is brilliant scientist without a divine connection. Most of the adjustments and additions to it are because the group takes the scraps of what’s left behind to make something even greater than before. Proper Human History was more or less made into a Lostbelt after everything started and we are more less showing everyone else why while our timeline is still bad, it will still kick the teeth in of monsters, demons, gods, and beasts alike to ensure we keep on going. If he did have a Lostbelt, I think it would be just the Chaldea as a slice of life anime where all his friends are alive and well. None of the bad things ever happened and while they “struggled”, everything all ended up okay. Where he didn’t need to end Lostbelts or fight for his life constantly, but instead hang out with Mash eating Momma Emiya’s cooking.

First its the blank slate status on the start of the game why the fuck he was sleeping on the floor, who is rituka exactly, that reflects the Antarctica location quite nicely. Second theme is their mind being quite literally open to invasion and their weird relation to the Count. In the original Monte Cristo evento, they made sure we noticed the D'If cell where all start is very similar to his room in Chaldea. Finally but most important there is also suppressed revenge feelings plot. Now the history divergence, how about in this world the Heaven's feel ritual never came into development, so the grail wars as we know don't exist. Because of such Billy had to finance Chaldea by even more unsavory means. We know he already had a hand in oil, so perhaps America and their obsession with the clock tower is a key player here. LB King could be Billy himself but Leff would be cool choice. On the plot it starts as POV from Crypter ritsuka he wakes up in the corridor but somehow Mash Alter wakes him, a truly alter version of Mash that was never revived by Fou. She convinces our guy that Chaldea is at fault for even created them (at this point she believes Ritsuka is also an experiment and they both died together). They take over the facility thanks the chaldea servant summoning system never existing the mages were not a match for Mash. They start enacting their plans for revenge against proper Chaldea and believe the Master is another person. But surprise, actual Chaldea invades the lostbelt and. Now there 2 Gudas, POV shifter to the guy invading and the section 1 actually starts. My intention would be this playing out like that: LB Billy founds about proper Chaldea and gets envious, he does some magic bullshit and summons Guda memories on a prepared homunculus. That is the "crypter". Mas Alter was actually summoned by proper human history, but she has high ranking mental corruption. That LB never had a Crypter its an anomaly on the bleaching of the earth. The thing about him being normal would not work, we know he is not Normal he is abnormal as a mage and as a human.

We did have a singularity, Hawaii was used twice in summer events, Las Vegas for Saber Hokusai, area 51 is story important, and while not USA, the Caribbean was a summer event too. I hope there is more USA servants like John Moses Browning being a Grand candidate because of how important and revolutionary his gun designs are (the tilt barrel mechanism was made by him and near ALL mag fed pistols use it), maybe Chris Kyle as a low rarity FP servant and have an event (or story chapter) taking place in Florida where it was fun in games before becoming a murder mystery al la CSI Miami where Kayneth as a pseudo servant (assassin to make the triangle complete) and old man Sherlock would be introduced. Also it would be funny if Himiko's soul mate (divined by her niece) turned out to be Gen. Mc Arthur purely for the fact his actions saved the emporer and united Japan.

Anyone else feel like a separate vid for Gudako would be interesting? I know that technically Gudao and Gudako are the same person, but they do have fundamental differences, Gudao being generally more reserved, but stepping up when he feels it is necessary, while Gudako has a more outgoing vibe about her, which leads to her seeming more chaotic in the extended media. Thus, I feel if Gudako had a lostbelt it would be fairly different compared with Gudao. My rationale being similar to the Solomon and Goetia situation, though they saw the same scenes, they arrive at different conclusions. So for Gudao and Gudako, their Lostbelts could be carbon-copies, but I'd like to think their fundamental differences would lead to some interesting variation in the structure of the Lostbelts.

It bothers me to no end that Ritsuka can’t ball on the same level as other mages. It’s clear he can use magecraft; he has magic circuits, but never had time to train. All these servants and not one of them taught him a damn thing. If times an issue, he could’ve at least gotten a magic crest. There is no excuse why he shouldn’t at least have that. You got Merlin, you got Medea, hell, Morgan straight up married him and you’re telling me not one of them had the idea to give him a magic crest so he can fight on his own if need be? You’re telling me he couldn’t use a command spell and order them to make him one? In fact, being able to summon shadow clones of contracted servants could’ve easily led to him borrowing their abilities: spells, passives, some NPs; how did no one think of that? If Ritsuka is supposed to be a self insert, he needs to be able to fight on his own, not just give cheeks and pole to the servants and just be a cheerleader the whole fight.

Er... Waver, EMIYA, and Geronimo have all been teaching Ritsuka Magecraft, Kotaro Fuuka has been teaching him ninjutsu, and Scathach and Chiron have been teaching him generally. I do not recall what exactly Kiichi Hogen has been teaching him, though they have. Ritsuka canonically has lackluster magic circuits and no crest. Physically as a mage, his only noteworthy asset is an extremely high compatibility with Servants that happens to coincide with a personality extremely well-suited to that role. He is also always wearing powerful Mystic Codes. While giving him a crest may be a good idea, Ritsuka fundamentally lacks the raw ability to be especially noteworthy with spells. Where he excels is tactics, strategy, and recruiting others to himself and/his cause. This has been a thematic point for him and the game ad nauseum; they are unlikely to change it.
