I had my experience with a Karen recently lmao I went to a 7/11 to get some snacks for me and my family (my dad drove me, and sent me to go in by myself.) There was no one really in there, except for two workers at the counter, and a couple. It was also 8:00pm (ish). So I start grabbing my favorite candy (gummy worms), and the woman (who was in the store with her male significant other), walked up to me. She started demanding that I stop “stealing” and leave before she contacted the authorities. I calmly explained to her that I had money, and had no intention of stealing anything. (I’m a minor btw, and she’s like in her mid 40s. Like dude, get a life and stop yelling at kids lmao). Anyways, she then grabs my arm, to which I instinctively push her away, which makes her hit the shelving behind her. She starts a scene by knocking stuff over, before falling to the ground, which made a very loud noise, and then started screeching (which I guess was supposed to be “crying.”) I immediately texted my dad, telling him to get in the store. And a worker came over, asking what happened. I quickly explained what was happening, and even showed the MARK that she left on my wrist from squeezing it. My dad threatened to sue the woman for laying her hands on me, and the woman was arrested from the store (due to everything being caught on CCTV.) Moral of the story: Do not go to your local 7/11 at 8pm, alone. :)

Also her husband got involved, and also laid his hands on me. He kept grabbing my shoulders, upper arms, etc.. He claimed that he was trying to “get me out of the store”, but he did make attempts to grab my chest. He did manage to lay his hands on my chest, to which point I kicked him and got a safe distance away from him before my dad walked into the store. (I’m a cis female, and it made me very uncomfortable.) However, the husband ran off before the cops arrived. And I did report him. The woman was also mad at me because I wasn’t “feminine enough” and she just assumed I was a boy. Which actually sounds worse lmao
