Guys and gals, this is relevant only if you GOT INTO Stanford, Harvard, Yale, Princeton AND YET CHOSE TO ATTEND your local Podunk College. It is effectively comparing what got you in versus the school prestige. So, with the exception of our genius college coach here, i.e., for you, me, and the 99.9999% out there who did not get in, this is nothing to call home about.

Incorrect. It's if you APPLIED an had similar GPA and scores to those that were admitted (which is probably 1/2 of applicants.) A 2nd study found that WHERE YOU APPLY is more predictive of lifetime earnings than WHERE YOU GO.
