I loved this scene as I wish she could have done this with the emperor as well I always hated how much they tested her devotion to Zhiheng’s (so sorry if misspelled) but never him to her it always felt like everyone except for the empress only saw her as Zhiheng’s fiancé and not a person so I loved this scene and totally agree a betrayal of the heart is only one moment but does not mean the person no longer exists I wonder how much the prince regretted his rude and cold action towards NN after this speech cause he totally deserved it!!!

Lusi is amazing, noticed that with her voice modulation she sounds entirely different from before the events in a way her voice is more mature, something that would have actually been more appropriate after the timeskip rather than prior. Hoping she improves that part on her next act!

that's not her voice, it's dubbed. many C-dramas do this, they use different voice actors for different characters than that actors' own voices. it's only Leo Wu who dubbed his own character's voice in post production

@@megv7481 oh nope, you can check reliable sources, lusi did her own voicing this time; She even had criticism regarding her “baby” voice when it began airing.

​@oumarroukia254 imho no dubbing was used for zhao lusi in this drama. for whatever reasons, i'm kinda sensitive to modulation in certain voices. i believe zhao lusi is like a voice genius and just wouldn't "cheat" in any aspects of her performances/ work.

@@nilajakamau7854 I am happy that she is getting positive feedback regarding this, in my opinion she still needs to work on it some more obviously she is just getting started in that area. If we take Hidden Love where she also uses her voice : using her soft voice for her kid version of the character is the move but she shouldn’t have used it for the older version too, softness of the voice is one thing but talking/speaking faster doesn’t make her more of an adult than she was some years earlier; I think she could have gone with her rougher voice which she naturally uses outside of performances, voice acting is an art itself I hope she gets around it soon it needs to be polished just like normal acting.
