Maybe I’m Amazed would still have had to have McCartney’s amazing solo on it! Maybe George coulda played maracas! Happy New Year Larry ❤👌

I want to know what "Another Day" would have sounded like if it was a Beatles song. Because Paul was working on that during the Let It Be sessions. The Back Seat of My Car was also written when he was still with The Beatles, and I think Every Night as well.

If the Beatles recorded the 10 best songs from "All Things Must Pass". It would definitely be among their great albums!

It would never have happened for obvious reasons, but an all-George Beatles album would’ve been fun to hear.

Since I skip most of George's songs on Beatles albums, I would have to disagree.

'Mrs. Vandebilt' and 'Jet' are the two I think of that would have been cool as Beatles songs. I really agree with: 'Maybe I'm Amazed', 'Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey' and 'Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five'.

Tug Of War could have been used for the once planned "The Long And Winding Road" TV special (later redone as Anthology). If that horrible night in December '80 didn't exist, they would have worked together for that TV special. It is documented that John was proposing to get together for that TV project. Paul would've offered that song. Junior's Farm would be amazing if the group did it. I know you didn't choose this track, but "Back Seat Of My Car" to me sounded like a Abbey Road track (Paul did play it during the Let It Be filming sessions). I could see the group rehearsing or recording for the album. Such a shame they didn't. "oh Woman Oh Why" I could see John participating on that track. A few songs you mentioned, I have to search and take a listen. If the group continued on in the 70s, I could see Paul introducing "Too Many People" - but with alternate lyrics. Have the same song structure.

Beautiful melodic songs like ’Maybe I’m Amazed’, ’Little Lamb Dragonfly’, ’Tug Of War’ and ’This Never Happened Before’ would fit well. But I think that for example ’House of Wax’ (which I like in its own right) is too depressing and sad for The Beatles song. Others: ’Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey’, ’The Pound Is Sinking’, ’Jenny Wren’. And from ’Soily’, the Beatles would have made a great rock song.

I think Oh Woman Oh Why would be a Paul only track on the white album like Why Don't We Do It In The Road? The Beatles could have topped Backseat Of My Car for me with just cutting 2 minutes of it. George Martin or John would have told him so for sure. From Off The Ground I think Golden Earth Girl would be a perfect white album track like Mother Nature Son

The Beatles breaking up actually freed up the individual Beatles Larry,it allowed them to branch off into many different directions and many great Beatles solo songs would never have been recorded in the Beatles,yes Maybe I'm Amazed,Everynight,Band On The Run and many others would have been recorded but others like Little Lamb Dragonfly,Single Pidgeon and Teddy Boy I don't believe would have ever been done in the Beatles,John and George I don't believe would have ever have recorded those songs and there were other songs that were written that were the result of the band breaking up like How Do You Sleep,I've got a question for you Larry,would John and George have been OK with doing Magneto and Titanium Man?,maybe with a little persusion from Paul but maybe not,Ringo by the way would have been willing to play on anything the others wanted to do,he just wanted to play,good old Ringo! Bob

@canadianstudmuffin 18 күн бұрын
I don't think George or John would like Magneto, even though it is a great catchy song. Then again, George and John both did silly songs in the Beatles, like Piggies and You Know My Name, Look Up The Number.

@janetsampson1779 18 күн бұрын
@@canadianstudmuffin Yes the Beatles did silly songs Larry and they were great at it but they were meant to be silly songs,Magneto and Titatanium Man as fun as it is is a little more of a solid real song,it's not a joke,I don't know,I know they certainly wouldn't have done Mumbo or Bip Bop! Bob

@@janetsampson1779 I'll take Big Bop over much of the depressing, dreary, lecturing dirges John and George inflicted on us. Magneto and T is about comic book characters; it is not meant to be taken seriously.

The way I looked at this, is if the song would’ve been improved by the other three. For me, songs like Maybe I’m Amazed, Silly Love Songs, Junior’s Farm, Live and Let Die, etc are already “perfect.” I’d want to see the Beatles work on Another Day, Rode All Night, Let Me Roll It, Temporary Secretary, London Town, Flying to My Home, and Footprints. It’s a little difficult to imagine, but what would a Beatles version of Ebony and Ivory sound like?

While Denny Laine was the lead vocalist on The Moody Blues' cover of 'Go Now', he certainly was not its composer. Bessie Banks recorded the original version and the tune was written by Larry Banks and Milton Bennett. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fIOTnmVjqJ1ofsU

I believe that with AI in some years we will have ALL the discography o Paul John George and Ringo remade as recorded by the Beatles. People just don´t realized this golden pot yet. The songs will be rearranged by year as to form one or two (or three) Beatles albuns by year, 1971, 1972, 1973....This already exists in many forms ( I myself made my version for me and that´s how I listen to their solo work) , but with AI the vocals and arrangements will be remade as if the Beatles recorded them together

Let Me Roll It is a good pick. Maybe I Amazed sounds like something off Abbey Rd which I suppose is natural. You didn’t buy his albums for 27 years? 😮 shame shame shame….. neither did I 😁 Flowers in the Dirt to Pure McCartney - that was my Beatles Dark Ages period. The only new McCartney songs I heard were Hope of Deliverance, Young Boy and Dance Tonight - I couldn’t stand those songs although the latter I didn’t realize was his song until I started listening to him again.

The Beatles recording Maybe I'm Amazed would have been epic, the whole crew, The Beatles, Martin. I've always preferred the live version. The recording of the vocal on the solo record just doesn't slice the bread, in my view. It has this weird quality to it, doesn't have the full on, MACCA quality, like on Hey Jude. I feel the same way about many vocals in the early 70s, like Helen Wheels. Can't get into it cuz of the vocal, the way it was recorded. I don't know, was it put thru some sort of filter, what not. The original Maybe I'm Amazed I've always figured it was due to the homemade nature of the recording. But Helen Wheels wasn't recorded among sheep.
