Larry and Glen Chaos and Creation In the Backyard has some very good songs on it with This Never Happened Before being my favorite but it's not a fun album which has always been Paul's forte,it's a little to serious for my liking,It's still a good album but it's not one of my favorites by him,it's somewhere in the middle and it's definitely not Paul's worse, that honour goes to the album before this one Driving Rain. I think the Steve Earle album would be my favorite of these, but I'm not familiar with them all. The only other one I have in my collection is the Uriah Heep album although I do know some of the others.

Oh i hate Ice! Greets, guys.sorry, Glen, i fell off my bike on ice- took 3 weeks to stop hurting...( Curious what yall think of Mastadon; theyre kinda like DTheater that they exist now in tribute to their former heroes, lk KingCrimson).

Hello Gentlemen! Wow, to be featured on this channel by two icons of the VC and YT. Now I know how Sally Field felt at the Oscars, 'You like me, you really, really like me!" No way did I think Larry would like Dream Theater. High praise from Glen on Nektar. Cheers!

I didn't think much of Chaos and Creation in the beginning, but I decided to just let it play one day and, yeah, I finally got it. The only thing is that Anyway sounds a bit too much like the Impressions' People Get Ready, but besides that, let's just say I can understand why people would rank it so highly. Do I rank it above Band On The Run? Yes. Do I rank it above Ram, Flaming Pie, and Venus and Mars? Well, no. Above Red Rose Speedway? HELL, yeah! ;)

I'm a huge fan of Heep's early stuff! There is no doubt that they are superior to Deep Purple...I should add that Ken Hensley (in addition to being an exceptional composer) contributes amazing lead vocals on many popular songs such as "Lady in Black" and "Look at Yourself"!!!

Guns and roses are the worst thing that has ever happened. It’s probably because I work in retail and that damnable sweet child of mine keeps playing like the shit came out yesterday. I should hate Nickelback but I would actually like them if them never wrote Rockstar or Photograph. Take those kind of songs out and Reminds Me… take that one out too and I would like them a lot more.

My favorite KZbin channel used to have 1k - 3 K views on the new videos, but now it's only 150 views...so times have changed, don't know what's going on with KZbin.

Congratulations on 19 years on KZbin. KZbin itself marks its 20th anniversary on February 14th, 2025. You were one of the early "content creators." Did you ever make a video or two about Janet Jackson's Super Bowl "wardrobe malfunction" way back then?

Abbey Road is a album that I just have to play from start to finish in that order. Same as with marillion misplaced childhood. I don't like stopping either album halfway through, apart from to turn the record over to the B side. 👍

Great vid. I have to agree that I rank the early stuff lower. Yes, they hold their place in pop culture history, have great songs and sound even better with the 2023 remixes BUT in terms of creativity and relistenability everything (and including) Rubber soul was astounding and grew with each passing album. Like you, I love every album but 66-70....just outrageous output.
