How does the Carolina rig work ? Can u explain what u used to catch those catfish

It is a rig with a sliding sinker and a swivel attached to the main line. Then attach a 12 to18 inch mono leader onto swivel going to the circle hook. The Carolina rig is really good to fish the bottom. The fish can take your bait without feeling any resistance from the weight. I was using small pieces of gizzard shad for bait. Once the water gets colder shad is one of the best baits to use for catfish. Thanks for watching!

If I fish a spot I cover as much area in a spot I'm in. I'll go by the weather and current if it's hot I'll look for dark spots in the water. This could either be grass or a drop. I fish 10 minutes if no bites I move. If I move after 10 minutes the 2nd time no bites in 10 minutes I'll switch rod with different lure. I get bites I'll stay another 5 to 10 minutes.

Making moves is important. I think most people that get frustrated with fishing is because they don't move or they don't recast in other areas. I like to recast around the 30 minute mark. 15 minutes sounds better
