I would also argue that the Tar Monster would face charges for damage/misuse of an archaeological site, as well as using his position on the excavation team to commit theft of artifacts, and would probably face an inquest from UNESCO and the Turkish Committee on Conservation of Cultural Assets. Also, the Viking ghosts would probably face similar charges if that's an actual Viking burial ground they're using for their operation. In addition to that, they would also face charges for health and safety violations in regards to the uranium mining, to say nothing of the fact that they were running a uranium mining operation on what I would assume is federal land (which, while not necessarily illegal, requires them to make a claim and obtain a mining license and a permit, as well as to follow safe mining regulations).

If I have it figured right, in the 5 available Scooby Doo villain videos, considering the apparent ages of the perpetrators, a whopping 95 of these criminals spent the rest of their lives in prison. The only four I question, because of the fact they were not adult themselves, were the two pairs of children in What's New Scooby Doo. The wrestler's kids and the pro race driver's kids were likely not anymore than 10 years old, so getting that stiff a sentence as if 16+ seemed unrealistic. Juvie to 18 and years (decades?) of counseling, seemed more likely. Otherwise, well researched!

With how often monsters, ghosts and legendary figures are used as disguises for criminals in the Scoobyvers you’d think there’d be laws about it. Criminal use of spooky costumes (each costume is it’s own offense). Impersonating the dead. Impersonating a religious figure (it happens enough and is seriously messed up and serious effective and should be a thing irl). Use of legend for nefarious purposes. Falsifying paranormal evidence. Framing cryptids. Fraudulent use of fear/paranormal activity/specific effects. Anyone else think of something else that would make sense? There’s so many “guy in mask” crimes that there should be laws to dieter it. The masks and use of legends creates a nice cover and distraction to throw off police. So giving it a harsher punishment would scare some criminals away from it and make them easier to capture.

Here's some of my Ace Decade is Butch Cassidy and Alex Super's father head canon: As we see in his episode, Ace is flat out willing to betray his own family members, so it wouldn't be much of a stretch for him to cheat, which would lead to both Butch's mom and Alex's mom finding out and Butch's mom divorcing Ace. He'd have to pay child support, which could also explain why in the Diabolic Disk Demon he was so desperate to sell the stolen records. Perhaps Mr. Decade found out about Ace's affairs and wouldn't allow him into a higher position, and that could be another reason? Ace was not a very good father to Butch and Alex, being absent most of the time and emotionally distant the rest of the time, often being chewed out by Butch and Alex's mothers as a result. Ace used his power and fortune to have Butch sent to a boarding school where he was bullied due to sharing the same name as the infamous Western outlaw, but the school wasn't COMPLETELY bad, as Butch was able to meet Wally, Steffy, and Merilee. Alex on the other hand, was able to go to a regular school and meet Ray, Deek, and Lila, possibly meeting the Scooby gang later on? As we see, Alex and the Scooby Gang seem to already be friends. After learning of Ace's stunt as the Diabolical Disk Demon, Butch and Alex are hurt, but not surprised. However, with help from their friends, Butch and Alex are able to move on and heal.

The Scooby Doo Show is one of my favorite Scooby series [alongside Scooby Doo Where Are You, The New Scooby Doo Movies, 13 Ghosts Of Scooby Doo, and What's New Scooby Doo], and it has some of my all-time favorite Scooby villains. For Ace Decade, I've had this headcanon that he is the biological father of Alex Super and Butch Cassidy [from the Scooby Doo "clone" Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kids], due to their similar facial similarities [and he and Alex do both wear glasses and Ace also has dark hair like Butch has]. However, both Butch and Alex have different mothers due to Ace being a cheater [I mean, given the fact that he was willing to betray his own uncle, wouldn't be much of a stretch to say he'd betray anyone and everyone he meets]. Needless to say, both Butch and Alex wouldn't like talking about him for obvious reasons. I have more to this headcanon, but that's for another post/comment.

@@ripdalt It honestly works really well and adds a layer of tragedy to both Alex and Butch's characters. On a related note, I really wish that Alex had been used more as I really like his design and personality and he and his group could've helped Mystery Inc more. On a different note, the Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kids villains, while not as intense as Mystery Incorporated villains, are still very dark and they've committed a TON of crimes that make most pre-Mystery Inc Scooby Villains look tame by comparison. If you ever cover villains from the Scooby Doo "clones", I'd highly recommend starting out with Butch Cassidy due to the sheer amount of crazy stuff the villains do.

I’m pretty sure most wrecks are illegal to even dive near. Especially if anyone died as a result of the wreck. Or if it’s say an ancient Roman boat. You can’t dive near that either because it’s an archeological site. It depends on the wreck but I imagine in general you’re not allowed to disturb a wreck. Even if it’s undiscovered. I would imagine most places have a look don’t touch rule for wrecks. On top of any restrictions on specific wrecks. The owner might have a say in what’s done with the wreck. It also depends on where the wreck sunk. Like it could be an American owned boat but it sunk in Canadian waters. So what are the rules if your ship sunk in waters that aren’t in your country? It’s very iffy with what you can or can’t do to wrecks. But there would most likely be a general you can’t go near it

@@ripdalt Thank you! I looked it up and the reason I knew some of the episodes and yet had never heard of The Scooby Doo Show was that part of season 3 of The Scooby Doo Show was originally released under Scooby Doo, Where are You! but later was repackaged into The Scooby Doo Show but now is sold as season 3 of Scooby Doo, Where are you! (So it seems this set of episodes is something of a vagabond in terms of distribution). Found your video for Scooby Doo Where Are You!, and it was great :)

Just a heads up, KZbin is being weird and isn't showing this video at all in my subscriptions tab even though I can clearly see that I'm subscribed to your channel and haven't had problems with yours videos and posts showing up there in the past; the only reason I knew that the video was posted already was because it showed up in my recommend feed on the KZbin home page

Watching this I just realized... is there no show just called "Scooby-Doo"? Seems like there's always something added on.

Julie wasn't a member of the Johnson family.
@ripdalt10 күн бұрын
when we meet her, she claims to be the daughter of the store owner, mr johnson. that could be a lie though
@Jetthehawk19949 күн бұрын
@ it was. The Johnson family cat ran away from Julie when she got close. I’m no animal expert but from what I’ve seen, if an animal becomes familiar with people they won’t run away.

@ripdalt It's actually a general rule across pretty much rural everywhere. I've had to deal with rustlers before and it's like the Feds expect you to go medieval on them.

Are these current laws or the laws back during broadcasts? The Mexican one, i think you got wrong on a technicality. Stealing something from that area would need a lot of outside help. I don't know if Mexico has any RICO laws like US. It's certain that outlaw groups would have been used if not American Army/Navy/Diplomat. That would have to attach extra years for all the bribery involved
@ripdalt3 күн бұрын
current, and i only counted ones that i saw happen in the episode, adding ones like bribery when it's not shown opens up pandora's box of if buts and maybes
