Recently few videos of Dr. Zakir Naik are having some sorts of glitches. Unfortunately this is affecting the audio parts as well. As a result sometimes it causes confusions to understand the sentence. I hope they will be able to resolve this problem.

My question is if women request husband to divorce and thou husband does not want to but he sign the papers of divorce and this papers has not been deposited in union council and mean while both the husband and wife wants to reconcile will it be possible .

Women in the US and Canada rarely divorce husbands with his permission or go to a Qadhi, they just ask without the Shariah reason and obtain one. Before anyone comments on this, I'm referring to those wives that have no reason where he supports her, provides the basic needs, and if emotionally there for her. There are of course and I acknowledge many women who don't get that and have a very valid reason to end the marriage.

For the nikkah to be valid the mahr has to be paid. At the time of divorce you may have to return it. But the nikkah is not valid without a mahr. And.... if the nikkah nama gives you the right to divorce, then its not following sharia. Because in sharia only the man has the power to divorce. Its the difference between talaq and khula

Yes, you can. But you need to wait 3 menstruation cycles which is 3 months (so that you completely get rid of the sperms of your ex husband)
