You made a good point about an ex not grieving. All the rebound relationship does is postpone grieving and replacing it with euphoria. But grief always comes a knocking months or years, it has a good memory.

This is so true. My girl monkey-branched from another guy to me and I thought "But she'd never do that to me because it's true love and yadayada" and after the honeymoon phase ended I started to get a bit insecure about her commitment and things slowly turned toxic and lo and behold if she didn't do the exact same thing to me 4 years later. Monkey branched to another guy. Oof. So you're absolutely correct rebound/monkey branch relationships are doomed to fail even if it takes years and years it will catch up eventually like it did with me.

Spot on. My ex-husband rebounded quickly and has stayed for years in this relationship. He told our eldest child he did not understand why he was having so much trouble with his girlfriend. He expects relationships, life in general, to be easy. Otherwise he runs away. He just moved to South Korea (from Spain) for work. He monkey branches and believes grass is greener on the other side of the fence. He is childish and very immature.

My ex of 4 yrs dumped me and started dating her rebound the same week. They got engaged after 4 months and are set to be married in July only 3 months later!! So they will have been together 7 months before tying the knot. On top of that they both travel for work so have only been together equivalent of like 13 weekends before getting engaged. It's crazy fast. On top of that this guy has never lived on his own. 32 yrs old and lives with mom and dad still. Troubled history too. She is racing to the alter.

​​​@@PazGoldmanOfficial everyone I tell the story to says I dodged a bullet. Literally everyone. My kids who are 14 and 10 both were shocked at how quickly she got engaged. She was desperate to get married and she took the first guy who would give her a ring. I remember she would tell me I could find any man off the street to give me a ring in 6 months. I would tell her is that how you really want to judge your husband?. Well I guess she found her guy LOL.... She is still in the honeymoon and infatuation stage making these decisions! Lol This guy also doesn't even know how many women he has slept with because the body count is so high. This guy will wind up cheating on her at some point. I guess they're only saving grace is the fact that they were childhood friends. They have not been best friends but the families know each other and they've known each other for a long time but again it's not like they were hanging out or talking on the phone or keeping up with each other. They were more of just acquaintances at this point in life and she had always had a crush on him but he would never have given her the time of day when he was in high school. But now that he's 32 and his heyday is behind him he has no other options and so she thinks she has a catch LOL

thanks for your great videos. your documentary was so pure. My ex left me after 6 years and I caught him cheating. We were in the middle of renovating the house. He left and never came back. After 5 months she became pregnant and he will become a father in 3 months. She has destroyed a marriage before. I find it so difficult to process as we had been trying to get pregnant for 2 years. They had the chance to fix it with the in the relationship container and they chose not to. It will be foolish to give them a second chance because they will probably do this again and if they don’t do this again already fucked up.
