I was a bad alcoholic and almost died. I am 40 years old now, and have been sober from alcohol for five years now. I quit drinking and then started to have bad problems with my nerves and started taking nerve pills, then got hooked on pain pills, cause I was in pain all the time and still am. Long story short, I have been sober from pills for four days now, and the devil is working overtime on me. I haven’t slept in four days now, but glory be to God, I’m fighting satan with Jesus, every step of the way, and let me tell you, it has been a nightmare, but with Christ all things are possible, and this I know cause if he can take that bottle from my hands like he did, then he can take away the pills!! Get behind me satan, cause I plead the blood of my lord and savior Jesus Christ!! To anyone who reads this, you can quit!! Take it from a man who thought it’s impossible to quit!! Marc Thank you. I keep faith. Even as I continue to struggle to support my children and myself I trust in you Jesus. Being a single mom things can be hard raising them alone. My husband passed years ago. Both of my children are autistic. I started homeschooling them last year and they are now thriving but unfortunately my hours to work are limited. I suffered a heart attack two years ago and Im battling lupus Lord I’m overwhelmed please heal me and give me strength. As I struggle to pay my rent each month and as I struggle to buy groceries. Yea, it's a lonely existence when all your so called friends don't want to hang because you are taking the path less traveled. One thing I do is play and write songs on my guitar! It helps from the boredom in between trying to survive and scripture. I was a lead singer in a band and when they asked me to sing Alice In Chains the man in the box I said NO and never looked back! Now I am teaching guitar for $50 bucks an hour AND I have some people who I do not charge any money because they don't have it... We all need to change for the better! This is a salvation issue and it needs to be addressed. God has boundaries and so should you. No one is forcing you to do anything against your own free will. Show me your friends and I will show you your future is an old saying that is true today. Release yourself from any obligation you feel towards them. If you are hanging with people who are living in sin and encouraging you to sin #1 they are not your friends #2 Confront them and move on with your life. I encourage you to go to the Heavenly Father in prayer on your own and develop that relationship. Christ Jesus is the mediator and intercessor for us to God the Father. He is the only one that can save us and restore us. When you begin to pray for yourself and go boldly to God on your own you are holding yourself accountable and showing the Lord you trust Him with your everyday life and salvation. I came to Christ first and through the testimony of my obedience and faithfulness to Christ my entire household is saved and walking with the Lord. I just did what the Bible told me to do as a wife and although there were challenges I saw his heart being changed before my eyes. That was several years ago. Now my husband and I are raising our legacy built on the foundation of God's Word together. Unequally yoked marriages are not guaranteed that spouses will come to Christ , but the scripture says that if you belong to Christ and live a holy life that holiness covers your household. Continue to pray for this man's salvation.

Thank you so much Marc. I've always believed in God but I wasn't living life as a real Christian I was a fake Christian living in sin. I started over I've been reading my Bible everyday for an hour and plan to read for longer periods with no distractions of the world. I've been trying to warn others in my family and friends but I don't know enough scripture yet to have detailed conversations with them. All I can do is keep reading gods word everyday to build knowledge it takes time to build a house of faith I think I'm right were the Lord wants me to be.

This 💯💯 I was at a church that didn’t preach repentance for months. I barely recognized it when I heard them say some false teachings about cessationism. They don’t believe there are apostles/ prophets to this day. We ourselves are supposed to be disciples of Christ! I left and got baptized in the Holy spirit speaking in tongues as the book of Acts. We have to be very weary about these doctrines of devils we will give head to in the last days!! Anyone with ears to hear should listen to what the spirit says! You were speaking about horoscopes, and that reminded me of the book of Enoch and how it says that fallen angels taught humankind different kinds of things. One of them being astrology and horoscopes. To those who believe in horoscopes, yes it may be true that a star may be aligned to some kind of event, I really don't know, but the book of Enoch says stars and their courses obey God until the last days. Because we're in the last days, should we really depend on the stars? Even they are transgressing from their course, but God is the One in control. Shouldn't we depend on God alone? God is perfect and Holy and he never does wrong. I believe that some people worship angels, but in the New Testament when an angel came to John in the book of Revelation, he said “Do not worship me! I am a servant like you, your brothers the prophets, and all those who obey the words in this book. Worship God!”

Interesting you talk about isolation. I’ve been pretty isolated for the last 7 years living in the mountains of the Southern California Desert. I can’t say that I was a complete atheist beforehand but I didn’t really want anything to do with Christianity. I was living entirely for the world. It does feel like he cut me off from everything and everyone until I stopped running from it and started to listen.

Hi Marc and community. I wanted to ask for your thoughts on an experience I recently had at a new chruch I attended due to my mothers insistence. I was feeling quite lost and distraught due to the struggle ive been trying to overcome with launching my first business as well as with watching the suffering of my friends and family in Palestine. While at Church, one of the attendees provided a sermon on Israel. In this sermon, she justified the murder of Palestinians and mocked their suffering. Ill be frank, I became filled with rage and hatred at the hypocrisy I witnessed and the disregard for the values that we have as Christians. I've been asking since then for God to cleanse my soul from these dark feelings. Why was this necessary? What could the purpose possibly be? I never in my life have never felt this way after going to community prayer.

Although what happened when you went to that church may have been inappropriate and offensive to you, we must remember that there are no perfect people, and people may do and say things even in church, that may be harmful to others, sometimes not even realizing it. But we must not allow it to affect our personal relationship with God. I can relate because I have been offended and hurt in a church service more than once, and the devil wanted to use thise experiences to cause me to turn away from the church and God, but I thank God that the enemy wasn't able to have his way with me, because by God's grace, I was able to forgive, be healed from the offense, and move on. I always say that if those giving a sermon, would preach Jesus Christ, and the Word of God, as the Bible instructs us to do,they would help bring healing, hope, and reconciliation with truth, rather than cause cause harm to their others by their opinions, assumptions, and commentaries that don't benefit anyone spiritually or help them gto grow in the grace and knowledge of God. That’s what I did back with the people I hung around, I warn those that were on the wrong path the Islam and with false religion and with sins like smoking, committing adultery, and just all the sin, but most of the time they respect me and yet sit in those sins or just stick with there religion and false ways but for me I’m more patient and let them experience what’s to come but I always pray for them and let them know that what they are doing is wrong and sin but I always will love them.
