If THIS happens again... I'm GOING POSTAL!!!

In today's video I hop up to the lake for a couple hours and caught a few fish but I absolutely got my tail kicked by the fish! They were striking my bait weird, blowing up on top waters and missing it, coming unpinned during fights and I have no clue what the heck the deal was. Some days are just like that I believe. Dude when the fish pull that lazy barely mouth it crap I had a lucky revelation.... I caught all the fish we had in a tournament from the back of the boat... All because of rod power and taper.... While my buddy was fishing the same soft plastic on a med hvy extra fast action I pulled out a 7 ft medium heavy power with a moderate taper and it was like u could feel them like your used to on your usual rod... I think that moderate to moderate fast taper is a real sweet spot.... I'll risk being able to winch them into the boat to be able to feel the bite in the first place lol

I was having the same issue at the big joe last week. It's like they just are nipping at it. 2 week ago they were crushing it!
