To be honest, I like the processes more than the projects. Hear me out Zack The projects are great and really detailed, but I like watching the videos and seeing the work being done the most. If that means making videos before a project is finished, than that is fine. You projects are so complex that it is probably a good idea to break your videos into multiple parts of it means steadier streams of content. This is the devil you chose, video maker, not project maker; and he is hungry.

Sadly, the KZbin algorithm favors the "I made a thing!" video over the "This is how I made a thing". The first type gets more views and that means more chances to sell video ads (which is the business model for KZbin).
@maxwellhesher17903 жыл бұрын
@@andy-in-indy You have it backwards, the algorithm gives absolutely no care to the content in a video. It’s purely driven by tags, view count, like to dislike ratio, how many likes themselves, watch time, viewer retention and which creator it’s coming from. It has no idea if a project is complete or not. People themselves click on a finished project which fuels the algorithm to bury in process projects.

Given that it turns off and on from both sides when the right is unplugged, im betting the issue is more of a power supply wired in series. Of course I'm guessing but I can see where some money could be saved in the power regulation circuit by allowing a bit more power and using it across two devices. But because it is so close to the eyes, the series circuit could pop a thermal fuse or something if damage from a drop or something could otherwise cause a catastrophic failure. If my guess is right, tracing the power from the regulation circuit to the end points would identify the connectors and a small resistor across them should be enough.

Not a DP expert by any means but I can think of two possible scenarios why video quits and one maybe large concern. Being bit optimistic, it may be a simple check if the HPD (Hot plug detect) is pulled low. This would be ideal. It could also have some continuous handshaking like you mentioned. May be over the AUX channel. This would be harder to spoof, maybe could use a small dummy plug to emulate a display. My main concern is that if link training fails both displays might go offline. May have to keep the right side but jam it in on the left. Either way, good luck! Looking forward to the next video.
