Considering Sukuna's character, I don't think he would resort that fast to his domain. Unless he is overwhelmed completely, which he won't be at 15 finger. He would like his fight against Toji. Toji sure is a better fighter than Jogo, and Sukuna only recognises strenght, and would appreciate a lot a huge fight against such a foe, especially because without cursed energy, Toji would certainly make Sukuna curious

Explanations for people arguing that Domains don’t work on Toji: 1. Attacks cast in the domain can STILL hit Toji. However, the sure-hit and auto sensing abilities of the domain are useless against him. The Domain caster can still target Toji with their own eyes, and shoot attacks at him as normal. And in Sukuna’s case, he can indiscriminately slash EVERYTHING in the domain radius. That’s why even phones and buildings were annihilated in Shibuya, despite neither of those having CE. 2. Toji cannot BREAK domains without the Inverted Spear of Heaven. Emphasis on breaking, because he can still pass through domain barriers. However, Sukuna’s domain is on an open barrier, meaning it doesn’t trap the opponent inside in the first place.

the thing is that Sukunas DE works uniquely from everyone elses and doesn't "create it's own space" so to speak it merges with the surrounding world and the 2 techniques from MS both affect the real world, cleave and dismantle, they both slice anything in it's path to shreds one for curses and things infused with curses and one that impacts things physically regardless of cursed technique or none, this is why he is able to turn shibuya into a crater and kill all non sorcerers

He only died to Gojo because he went out of character and fought him anyway when normally he would have left.

Clean and reasonably fought Toji is one of my favorite character due to the fact he is an anti-magic, anti-curse individual with just amazing strength I like basic full on brute characters in anime , since I mainly focus on callentics and body flexiblity when I workout , simply Sakuna domain is extremely catered toward the fast and nibble close range fighters .

I wish they had done more with toji when he got summoned. Like instead of killing himself, he should have left and we would not see him for a while. Then he would comeback to help megumi , to get him out of sukuna. Or even team up with gojo and talk with him. I’m not mad that he’s dead but how he died, he could’ve do more, dead by saving megumi. Toji is one of the best characters for everyone in jjk, they should’ve done more.

It's a shame that he just exited like that, yeah. But I think the only thing that he had on his mind was Megumi as he died vs Gojo. I think his fight against Megumi, especially that last move Megumi tried to pull, he figured Megumi will be alright. And Megumi taking the Fushiguro name sealed the deal for Toji that he can pass on peacefully. There's nothing else in the world he cares about or wants to wait around for.
