I lost my husband to Leukemia when we were both 22. It has been 33 years, I never remarried,but I was glad to have been there to let him know how much he was loved, when tomorrow came he was able to let go. I agree and have never understood it either but it may have to do with personal likes by the selection committee. Another possible issue may be that EH didn't reside permanently in the UK for tax reasons although not sure if Tom Jones has always been a full time UK resident. Think they should remedy the situation before it gets to be too late. EH still has an incredible following at 80 yrs young, can still sing beautifully, has sold an incredible 150 million albums/cds and still packs them in at concerts, it's quite amazing.
