You don't seem to understand the motivations behind the calls for boycotts. They're not saying Israeli universities aren't doing good things. It's about their complicity, in whatever form, in Israel's genocide of Palestinians. They should be held accountable for that, regardless of the good things they do. It's a moral principle, not a calculation.

When bds first came on to the scene, the founders of the movement stated plainly and have been repeatedly quoted that their goal is not peace for palestinians nor two state nor even one state but the elimination of Jews worldwide. You'll find many such protesters, student organiztions and a handful of student govts have defended the worst regimes on earth for as little as calling them regimes, of suggesting their activities are terrorism. . .even at the expense of tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions... throughout history of academics. You lot will stammer, huff and puff, scream fake news even if we provided you the exact clips, a dozen times over or tell us that we're ignorant and don't understand or sheer evil because you don't give a bloody toss about genocide. Many of you, conscious of it or not, view Israel as a proxy, a symbol of the west, and you believe western civilization, if not civilization wholesale (which really, many of you do... save for those govts, political philosophies that in practice have exhibited nothing but tyranny and yet continue to try push towards it again and again, but I digress) you believe the west is the worst offender, you call for it's destruction, you rally a mob that desires to overthrow the govt and tell them the first step is with eliminating the Jew, with eliminating Israel and then right or left, the revolution, the civil war, global jihad will begin and the rest of the world will collapse like dominoes paving the way to a new world order ruled under a monopoly (be it after you fight the enemy of your enemy that you have united with for this cause) and utopia will arrive for one and all. You'll ignore that for decades palestinians by no means limited to hamas have promoted their youngest children to die in suicide attacks, their govt promotes in both textbooks, routine radio addresses and even in children programs, which you call resistance and try to play a cultural relativism game, or otherwise justify, not like you frequently justify the attacks of the political factions and it's various wings treatment of the palestinian people in general or again, dismiss it all as israeli propaganda. But then, of course, you lot romanticize terror, turn terrorist into folk sheroes, place murals of them on public campus walls in western universities, all the while screaming for the collapse of your govts because extremists promised that if sharia law suddenly came into being, your college loans, car and mortgages would be interest free. Your cries of genocide is a strawman based on your history of protest. Where were you last summer when hamas last year were slaughtering and imprisoning gazans protesting against hamas? (albeit, because they thought they weren't hard enough on Israel) or the year before against fatah in the wb? Why is it you know nothing of what palestinians face from their own govt despite numerous documentaries even by groups with no love of Israel? In so much of allegedly "pro palestinian" protests there is little that is truly pro-palestinian but rather used to call to "globalize the intifada" - why is that? do you desire to globalize the intifada? It's routinely chanted, stated in numerous speeches, worldwide, at virtually every alleged pro-palestinian rally and protest. Again, if anything it seems as if it has little to do with Israel at all, any of its actions. So, you're right there it doesn't matter what good Israel does nor even what bad because ultimately, neither it nor palestinians are just shallow tools of your agenda...

Israel have since then looked after Hamas and answering every attack from them. Also Israel is the ones who sold all, elecricity, water, buildingmaterial and they alos built all schools in Gaza.
