Great convo, guys! I totally agree with you. Dwayne's story about the IT guy really reminded me of something that happened in my own work environment. I'm the same way, I'll always look out for fellow minorities, they don't have to even be from the same Caribbean background as me, but if they aren't white, I'll look out for them. I don't see it as favoritism because the power imbalance is so real for us minorities. We just have to look out for each other, because no one else will. But, they still have to be qualified for the job lol. Congrats on your 100th episode, looking forward to more!

I go out and go to the mall by myself... i rather enjoy it... and very selective of my peeps... as well I tend to think no one reps me like me... so I have a tight ship...but...disclaimer...I am here for manny of course! Howevertruthfully watching him in Good Girls! (Though I knew him from graceland) helped me through a dark time while being by myself and handling things on my own. Loved his character but yet love this show and hearing him be Real. I know actors dnt like to be personal and I think they need their privacy. But it is nice to see this! Keep up the good work!!

Congrats on 💯 guys!!🙌👍❤Im white,but imo,Thats super fkd up when white people stare and assume if a minority is around,automatically thinks they are going to steal something.Pisses me off when I see them do that or hear them say thats what they think is going to happen.Im even racist against my own race sometimes.🙄 To answer your question,no,not all white people automatically and always think that way😁❤ At least I don't,and I know alot of white people that also dont think that way.However there are some out there that do,and its complete bs that they do.Those that do,I steer clear from them,and dont want anything to do with them.I dont tolerate racism.Me and my hubby get alot of hateful and awkward stares in public,when we go out together.Im white and he is hispanic,so when people stare at us that way,he'll flip em the bird,or we'll just continue going on about our business.Anyone that assumes someone is going to steal something,or cause problems just because of their race are retarded.I hate using that word,but it is🤷‍♀️ This was an awesome podcast,it cleared up alot of things from every side😁❤👍

As with most things, referring to experiences of people of color, white people are oblivious. I am aware that POC have to act differently all the time, but I experienced it firsthand with my Bf, who is black. We went into a store that I’ve gone into my entire life and never had one problem and the first time I go in there with him, the person that works there is following him and asking if we need help. She was a polite racist. I wanted to call her out for what she was doing, but I would never do that if my boyfriend is with me because I’m not going to put him in potential danger. Looking back right now, I should have gone back and talked to her without him there but I didn’t think of that til this very moment
