My son has been doing Jiu-Jitsu for 12 years now. And what Manny said is true. Most guys that do Jiu-Jitsu try not to get into fights. The reason why is because they know thay can hurt the person badly or actually kill them without throwing a punch. They carry themselves differently. It took time for me to understand that because I grew up in the hood. I see exactly what you 3 mean. I have that ego thing but so does my son but in a different way.

2pac was born and raised for some parts of his life in the hoods in New York, but he didn’t share the same story as Biggie i.e. selling crack on the corner and live that whole life style because during the 80’s and 90’s New York was ruthless. PAC was active in performing arts school and kept busy in extra curricular activities. His mother became hooked on drugs and he moved to LA. He’s always said “I’m not a gangster but I speak on what I see around me”. Everyone in the hood has that one friend who ain’t bout that life but who ever you surround yourself with you become.

agree with the social media, its nice to have it to see photos of your friends and family or sharing special occasions other than that most of it is just to much drama. I enjoyed the conversation on Tupac he is one of my fav’s. Sometimes I wish we were all born colorblind 💔 I was raised in low income neighborhoods and have a diverse family which I am grateful for. I cant tell you how many ppl are shocked and can’t believe it when I talk about a house I lived in or school I went to as a kid or if I introduce them to a family member of mine that is not Caucasian it just makes my blood boil and got me in trouble when I was younger, I’d be like why cause I live in a nice neighborhood now and have nice things and a good job? But as I get older I am getting better with my response and I try to turn it around and share all the good times I had and talk about how many friends I still have from growing up and how we all are there for one another, blood or not we are all still family which usually makes them feel as stupid as they sounded.

very insightful and interesting to hear guys from the hood talk about how they think and why they act the way they do. I grew up seeing it but never heard it dissected and explained. I believe we create a lot of our own problems within the confines of our mind as well as the energy we exude. life is too short to be stuck in negativity worrying about what other people are doing or saying and constantly thinking its personal. that's a whole other emotional and spiritual issue that needs to be dealt with. keep your eyes on YOUR prize y'all. stay blessed!

I'm not sure if you guys are religious or not but I recently started really studying the bible and now when I'm in a bad situation like racism or rude people or whatever, its easier to stay calm and not let them affect me because I realise where they're going to end up when we leave this world and I just continue trying to live my life according to God's word.

Ok everybody is wrong the reason 2 pac was assassinated- That night of the fight, pac pulled suge aside and told him How Much he appreciated and respected him so much, but asked for his blessing to move on and go on his own. Thats why he should off that beautiful phat chain he wore that night. That chain represented his achievement with suge and his future with his own label. When he told suge that i know deep inside a huge rock had fallen on his head. He was thinking there goes my $$$$$$. Without tupac suge would be worthless. That was his meal ticket! That was infuriating him! He was not going to just let tupac walk away from him. He didnt give a rats ass about 2 pac all he saw was $$. We all know suge does not like to get told no! Iam sorry to say and God forgive me if iam wrong cause i am like manny 2pac for LIFE! Suge had a part in his murder.

These guys don’t understand that jungle rule doesn’t apply in all neighbourhoods. What they think is offensive or someone crossing a line, in their neighbourhood, is not considered offensive in other neighbourhoods. Ethnic minorities in America apply jungle rule to other areas. By people in those areas grow up differently. They don’t grow up with violence or aggression. Their first reaction is not a fist fight or shouting. His wife’s reaction was inappropriate. The guys mother wasn’t going to fight her. She was going to talk to her. The problem with the “hood” is that they fight things through. They don’t talk things through. Dogs do pee in random places. Most people try to get dogs to pee in parks but it’s not always possible. The dogwalker talking about how cute his dog is, is normal. He wasn’t trying to start a fight. In European countries, Europeans smile and greet ethnic minorities. Some just mind their own business but that’s not considered offensive or rude. In European countries, people walk around with tattoos and piercings. There are also devil worshippers. No one looks at them in a weird way.
