If We DO NOT See Our Loved One In Heaven, Will We Feel Sadness?

In this episode, Dr. Betters answers the question, "Will we know recognize our loved ones in Heaven... Your answer was you believed we would. My question is if in heaven there will be no crying sadness or sorrow how then would we recognize our loved ones what if some don't make it to heaven will they be erased from our minds? If not wouldn't that cause sadness knowing this ?"

I was in a dark, painful state of mind recently. I struggle with adolescent abandonment, childhood neglect, lack of home, always looking for one. Emotionally adopting other people as my family. Although I love children I never had any and I have little to no family in my fifties. I was crying out to God and HE comforted me. God talks to me the same eachtime. I get a heaviness in my chest and then thoughts that are not from me come into my mind very clearly. It was almost a voice, and the thought was, and it said "Heaven is your home. The Bible is your family. All the characters in the Bible are your siblings, Mathew, Mark, Noah, the prostitute, the dear collector and so on and so forth". I was so comforted to know I finally have a home but for the moment I live, like all of us in this dark, sinful, fallen world where I need to hold on to the mighty word of God. My point, I believe deeply that we will all know eachother in heaven and not have one little memory of earth and anyone here. We can't, the spiritual world, heaven is our home and we won't miss anyone who fell short of the glory of God because we won't remember them. Because in heaven there is no sorrow. No crying. No longing. Only our heavenly father God, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. God bless all of us and thank you for the great videos. In Jesus mighty name amen and amen.

I believe that the love of God is greater than human love, but I could be wrong. What happens if only one is admitted to Heaven? At the same time, the souls retain their separate identities. The Buddhist Nirvana is a sea of love. Christians believe in separate identities. But it won't matter until we get there. Your first task is to gain entrance. That is a big enough task, and the only one you can change from down here. It is of no use looking for a meeting that your own actions have made impossible.

How can there be happiness without sadness? if there is no bad things how can there be good things? i just can’t really understand it all. if there is no bad in heaven then are you really happy there? it will just be the default feeling, if we are there for eternity can our minds truly live in heaven forever? without going crazy at least

Dr Betters I am missing my husband so terribly much! He loved me so much & treated me so well. I want to be with him more than I want to be here! I have a daughter & a grandson that will not show me me any compassion. Jimmy & I were together 50 years! I have lost the man that I know loved me more than life. He took care of me like a baby if I was sick. I know from your teachings I know him in Heaven but will I know him as Jimmy? He passed away in his sleep so I didn’t get to say goodbye! I just want to be able to hug him one more time!

Hi Connie. I’m sorry for your immense loss. If I remember correctly Dr Betters has answered that exact question in another video. Please have a look on his YT channel. As far as I know you’ll recognise your husband in heaven and will both rejoice in God, each other and all the other saints. Both of you will have a glorified body as Jesus has stated in the gospels. So we’ll no longer be male or female but have glorified bodies like angels have. And as hugging is one of several God given “languages of love” I’m quite convinced also those vastly improved bodies will be able to do so. All the best from Belgium.

If church attendance is required, then what is the minimum amount of times one has to go in order to make it to heaven? If church attendance was a required to enter heaven, then that takes away what Jesus did on the cross. It’s like saying His death wasn’t good enough. There is nothing we can do to earn our way to heaven. Jesus paid the penalty of sin in full, that’s why He said “It is finished” right before He died. Ephesians 2:8-9 says “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith -and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast.” Paul clearly says we are saved by faith and not by works. However, genuine faith is demonstrated by obedient action. For an example: what saved Noah from the flood? Most people would say it was the boat. Not exactly, it was his faith that saved him. God told Noah that He was going to flood the earth, Noah believed God and therefore built the boat. Just say Noah didnt believe God, then he would have never built the boat and would have drowned with the rest. The boat didn’t save Noah, it was his faith.

I dont think we can understand it, it's just something we have to believe because God says it in the Bible. There are people that were and are in my life that i think it will grieve my heart if I'm not reunited with them but that's something I have to try to take on faith that God will prevent that pain. I dont expect this to help you because I'm not a wise person but I hope you find a way to have peace with it.
