To get to Austin from SA there is no toll road going down 35. Crazy to think that I haven't gone that route for over a decade. Driving down 281 from Abilene is getting so bad, it's easier to go through Fredericksburg. The Stone Oak area is horrendous as well. Well, construction has been going on for at least 30 years (down i10 from Boerne), so I think you are being a little optimistic. You could have mentioned USAA off of i10 when you mentioned the medical center. Used to live in Boerne as well (Getting ridiculously busy, having 2 high schools.). For a long time, I thought La Cantera was spelled Lockantera until I saw how it was spelled. I had just returned from learning Spanish for 2 years in El Salvador and had no idea it was actually Spanish. lol I love the Southside because it's going towards the coast. Almost bought 5 acres out that way about 13 years ago. Hopefully it'll never see a boom so some area around there can be out in the country but close to a big city.

@MickSupper 130 is the toll road that takes you from North Austin to Seguin and then you can cut over to San Antonio. Thank you for your comment! San Antonio is definitely growing!
