If you started a production company and it failed, would you start a second one?

Depends on who I'm working with. Chances are, if I don't fix something within myself and/or change up the team members, it will be the same as the last one.

first time, I've heard you get emotional...at the end there, when he said it was an honor/privilege to be on your platform and you replied in kind... good work/kudos.

I don't know if this is being a sucker for punishment, but yes I would. You can learn from your mistakes from the first time. Also the business trends of the day are different when you start it the second time.

I am self employed since 20+ years, antique and vintage trade. Started filming a documentary 2 weeks ago. Let's see. Is just a production company the goal?

It would be advantageous to yourself if you worked for a production company first before putting up your own. Work for someone, learn the business wholeheartedly, establish connections, and observe. That would help you later all the knowledge and established relationships you have when you decide to build your own. It's like a free education.

What I admire about Khoa was that regardless how many times he failed he got up and started over again. He knew where he wanted to be and never looked back or blamed anyone for his failures. It is something, I believe, we should all strive for. We cannot expect people or our circumstances to change, we must change.

I like how the guests on this channel always explain things succinctly and with detail and precision, and how the host of the programme has the right follow-up questions in case there are gaps in their responses. Excellent delivery of film education. I'm learning each and every time with each and every interview.

Moments that I cried... _18:10: I feel the same way a lot of time. Trying to figure things out is the only reason we excel at something to others. _19:20: Thank you Khoa for being there and share his advices!

A business is a legal entity that is meant to protect our personal finances against failure. You do things freelance you have to come up with a 'label' to identify as when producing content and it builds from there. You already have a system in place and formalising it into a company that helps you expand and be able to hire people. There are plenty of people who just start a company as a vanity project and don't really push productivity

The eternal question; 'Why do you exist?' 'What do you bring to the table of life?' Here's a quote from the movie UNBREAKABLE - 'The most terrifying thing in this world is not knowing your place in it'. If you've been blessed with the ability to create then you should create within your means. If this was easy then everyone would be doing it. Don't follow the norm. Chart your own path: create your films or videos and take ownership of them instead of waiting for Hollywood. Shoot on whatever format you wish and do 4-walling distribution. Do Roadshow screenings. Look and Learn from Hollywood - Don't saturate your works - make it Extremely Exclusive, something Hollywood seemed to not do anymore. But if you don't create and do then those ideas will live through someone else. Remember, an artist is just a vessel and that work must live. - James D Watkins, artistic director of PHOENIX PRODUCTIONS.

Bro if youre gonna run your mouth at least get the facts right. Vanilla ice was despressed because he wasnt allowed to rap anymore because suge knight took him out onto a balcony one night and threatened to throw him off if he didnt get out of death row records way. Suge gave him three choices, rap for us, quit raping forever, or die. Vanilla ice was too scared to think straight so he quit rapping and decided to try bmx again because he knew suge wouldnt follow him there.
