"don't tell the other Sanses" i think this means that he does not in fact remember timelines exactly, not the way he is thought to at least. he doesn't remember each and every timeline and what happened though he may have a vague feeling of what may have happened but its no more than all the others, that "de ja vu" feeling that everyone gets when you reset. i think he's just really good at reading your expressions and going by your actions as to what may have happened in a previous timeline. like he said "did i getcha?" he knew what he was gonna do when he decided to "spare" you, and he knew that he would tell you not to come back so he sees how angry you are and just figures you got dunked on in the other timeline. when you reset he will forget all about the genocide (contrary to all the comics and animations) though he may have a vague feeling about you, like he feels that something bad may have happened in the last timeline. he does tell you not to fight his brother though after a genocide run but i think maybe he just has a feeling you did something to his brother so he feels he must tell you that. oh but dont get me wrong i actually really like the idea of him actually having memory of all the timelines like in the fan works, even if it may not really be canon. it does make for some pretty interesting stories and AUs. but i think he is simply aware that you have the ability and can just read you very well to tell what may have happened previously.

What's crazy about Sans is that to him every fight is for the first time. Through the barest hints he's able to surmise that you can manipulate time. And from your emotional reactions deduce what had happened in other time lines and even trick you. Like imagine if you were facing a murderous child with strange powers, you had this whole speech planed but because the thing looks as though it had heard it before you can tell its expecting you to finish so you on the fly skip the speech. Well its of how much you Could mean to him rather than how much you meant. Its Genocide route so he certainly hates you, like its not even a question he despise you, but he is also aware that this isnt the 1st timeline, and well probability alone means that there must be at least ONE timeline where both you and he were friends. But what he wasnt himself sure of, is WHY you would launch the Genocide, 2 big reasons would show up. 1. That you are a sickest f*** amongst the worst humanity as ever produced and do it for Fun without caring at all. 2. That you actually care about Monster kind, but since you are in controll of Reset and essentially a God you went on a power trip and checked what would happen if you killed everyone out of curiousity thinking you are above consequences. Which is sick ofc, but like, youre supposed to be a human child when you got divine power the first thing you do is abuse it. The 2nd reason is obviously not a good excuse, but its, at the very least, understandable, you just have to make sure the guy understands he messed up to much, force him to leave this run, and go back to a world of Friendship, wouldnt get rid of the Reset but at least less violent. Except that when you come back, you confirm that you follow the 1st reasoning, you dont give a sh** you never did, only entertainement is what you care about, and now for this timeline until his death, he knows that, for sure. But outside of this timeline the other Sans-es still arent sure, and its honestly better if it remains that way since learning the truth is honestly sickening. Really you did a Genocide you dare think you'd mean anything to him? Of course not, but he does care about the rest of his kind, and would rather keep the hesitation that you were friends at one point rather than knowing you never cared faked everything only for fun and giggles for you
