btw as a tip for anyone getting a dashcam and not just this one be careful with leaving it plugged into the usb port overnight they have been known to drain peoples batteries sometimes. so if you are going for a 24 hour setup hardwire it into your battery etc.

Can say I’ve had a nexar that was 24/7 plugged in and never had that issue, I stopped using bc after an update it DRAINS. My batter7 drops 1% a minute

Smart choice on dash cam bro, I daily my S197 and had someone smash into me a few months ago but luckily I had my dash cam at the time as a safety net. Definitely a must for insurance companies to see who is at fault, I’m happy to say it didn’t total out and got her back yesterday ready for the summer time 😊

Finally someone on KZbin uses this keep using it to I’ve been waiting for someone to get this camera. To me it’s totally worth it for safety and it’s better using a go pro on your head. Granted to go pro does give a POV which is something that I like. Thank you for getting something that will benefit you in the long run

I just bought the same one plus the parking surveillance is one of the best ive used.only thing i wished it gave you notifications on your phone but besides that the dashcam is one the best I've used so far. I definitely would love to see unbox videos and reviews.

You can completely hide the wire by running it through the driver side dash to the a pillar trim and then run it under the headliner straight into the dashcam

Cable the camera up to the top of the windscreen then tuck it in around the windscreen down to the dash and then under the dash. I did the same thing with mine, there should be enough cable to do that.

Question: what do you think of a dual camera dashcam instead? I know that this one will spin, but if you're filming forward and get hit from behind, won't it be too late to capture the incident? Thats one of the things i like about Ford. As long as its plugged in it will always record. I wired mines to the 12V cigarette port just a small amount of wire shows but its easier than having to hardwire it to the fuse box.

In my dad Audi I have the wifi off because I don't want to pay for it lol, Its like $30 a month and we barely use the Audi.
