If you don’t change your Line Trimmer Oil like this, You’re Doing It Wrong /Honda UMK425 Brushcutter

Tim shows us the optimal way to change the oil in your trimmer/Brushcutter/whippersnipper/weed eater. Whatever you call it this is how to change the oil.
This particular model is a Honda UMK425.

If the engine is not kept upright, oil may go into around the engine.

Thanks for the video Tim. I just bought a brand new Honda UMK425 but when i turn it upside down to do the edging, it stops. Isit normal for 4-stroke engine or am i missing anything?

I have the UMS425U and it keeps shutting down when I hit the throttle. Ive changed the oil and checked the fule lines and they were held back with a clip which was causing the fuel intake line to kink. I have release it but it is still cutting out on me. Have you got any other tips to help e with this problem

You still need to change the oil in your battery trimmer for proper lubrication.
