Amazon cancelled a load on me after checking in at guard shack in Carteret NJ and it doesn’t show in my history and I called and they say they’re going to fix it but I still didn’t get paid for that canceled load and Its still not showing in history after 2 weeks. I still have the cancellation code from guard shack!

Crazy u have to take it there with another "business" for them to get they shit together. I'm a clerk at Amazon looking to get into the box truck business. They just ramped up box truck use for prime coming up. Edit: You may be speaking about the contract work. A lot of people are fleeing from it due to the flat 40/hr rate change. That doesn't apply to the load board for solo drivers though.

With trucks it is NEVER if it will break it is just WHEN. Especially for new operators, a few things after messing up myself in the beginning. 1] WARRANTY WARRANTY WARRANTY. This is not the place to skimp. 2] Try to stay on top of PM bc the backlog on parts is real! You could be down for a long time bc parts are out of stock. Stay ahead of the curve. 3] on new authority's and new start ups look at some of your department of commerce and agriculture pages to get direct supplemental shippers during AMAZON lean times to try and snag dedicated freight lane. These pages have contact info names email & direct phone numbers.

Do box trucks require IFTA? The reason you do not need to file IFTA is IFTA only applies to vehicles that are over 26,001 GVWR and as you stated above your truck is 26,000 GVWR. Now, if you get a larger truck (one that requires a CDL) then yes you will need IFTA and apportioned registration, and random/pre-employment drug testing.Mar
