Most people have never been in a real confrontation. And I really hope you never ever need to get in a real confrontation, especially against someone skillful.
When you are against someone trained and skillful, this person can identify when you’re tense, when you’re scared, when you’re ready to run. You will certainly telegraph your movements and let that person be one step ahead of you. Your fear, in a real situation can be decisive.
In this video, we will discuss how this fear can affect different profiles and how it can be shown in a confrontation.
I hope you enjoy this video. And, show some love by subscribing to our channel and also leaving your comment below. That won’t take you more than 1 minute and it helps us a lot to keep producing free content. Our content is based on the audience requests so if you leave your comment there is a big chance you could be shouted out.

So true, every last bit of this! I’ve trained with a lot of people over the years and definitely the ones who were the most scared to get hit, were the ones getting hit the most, even in sparring. One guy in particular I trained with named John was really bad for turtling while sparring. One day the guy John was sparring with was really giving it to him. John turtled at the worst possible time, took a left hook to the face as he was turning away, tripped and fell back first into the wall of the school, leaving a giant hole in it. We didn’t bother patching it up, just left it as a reminder of why you don’t turtle in a fight. We nicknamed the hole “The John Hole”.

Nice point of view Adam. We have a similar saying that supports your point in our school which is ‘learn to love losing’ . So one should not go in as you say to expect to win every battle and be humble enough to expect and learn from losses. Thanks for sharing.

This is stupid. That's all I know. This is so so so stupid. But that's the thing about babbling instead of saying things that have value. I guess it may be half true. That's not good enough. I know when I worked security and protection I got in less violence than when I simply protected people that mattered in my life or when I street fought for just fighting to be fighting sake a lot of people got paid I just street fought to street fight to be fighting. It's really about knowing yourself the person though you want to understand and estimate correctly though is the other guy ... Or ... Maybe rarely girl since this is real women are dangerous when armed. If you can correctly judge the opponent and you took time to know yourself you're probably going to win unless they are much better at something very clutch like grappling but even then if you judge them right maybe you go for some doofus move like a standing lock take down then they estimate you wrongly thinking it will be ok,maybe then switch to a finger lock now you are beating a better grappler than you ... Because it could occur even though they'd never give that to you maybe you can threaten something with your skill ... But the point being most of the time though if you can figure out them, you'll win. If you remember your stuff angles even grappling don't really change. Outside of hospice age I think and old guy can physically train to be dangerous ... But of you always over estimated yourself ... Careful there. I actually always under estimate myself because I did a lot of street ... Make sense.... I wasn't scared it was through knowing I could lose ... Believe it or not in tactical combat theater of I guess war that I could always end up in the right position. So I disagree the soldier that lives is the one that keeps his head down ... But is able to pull.thr trigger at the right time. If you keep ypur head up and not respect danger you are already dead. Similarly in street its not all about pride but tactics, if you fall in the street and like we fought criminals just to fight people very possible to die. Or i protected my family against basically druggies ... I worked security and protection I never fought as hard in that as I did in my normal life. Ever. In my normal life I would in large groups fight lots of dangerous people separately together we all would for zero reason except enjoyment and a need to be active doing something ... It's just all we did. Gotta do something right can't just play video games. Can't talk to girls we didn't even do that who knows women we just fought the shot out of a bunch of dudes zero reason. You know what though I've never lost a real tactical or street fight. Ever. I've lost in training. For me its about knowing how badly I can lose, visualizing that visualizing positions I can win and just doing that ... Obviously while I might think I'm good I just need to be in the right place and not in the wrong place, if that's you and you are diverse enough to do that and smart enough its ... Well i won every time. So for me that worked. I literally never lost. Ever. Some guys I fought were 90 pounds heavier.

I only did Street and stuff in high school a lot of people still did stuff like that in college know for money and different things that I went to really nice College where we didn't do stuff like that is in the country was really Christian we still sparred for fun but I didn't do that stuff anymore just so people kind of have a baseline for you know who I am I don't do stuff like that at this point of my life actually I don't even feel the need to use any striking or hitting or anything like that I'm good with just grappling most of the time I don't I really enjoy I think I like striking a lot and especially because you can really if you're just grappling you can get really get a lot of blood and stuff before things even start happening in the favor of the grappler but it could strike Striker someone that's good sparring and stand up and heading and where is boxing and Kung Fu or whatever I'm so me like that is not going to have that problem and I like that I enjoy stand-up but I don't actually use it I choose not to use it anymore I only use Aikido and BJJ for self-defense at least I could use my confu and my boxing but if I did I would be hitting the other person and I found that that's just not even necessary for me. So I still enjoy a striking and fighting stand up whatever you want to call that I like that more than grappling barely but that's not what I use it's just something that I enjoy and as long as you have the skill-set you can kind of sort of ignore that skill-set because it allows you to be safe from the other person. I respect people that believe that one hit is better than a lot of grappling and that's not really untrue either but the unfortunate side of that that I disagree with is that that would cause there to be hitting and at this point in my life I just don't see any need for that. Mean there really isn't because if you're in a reality-based thing going on then really position is important and that's just as easy or easier to be accomplished with grappling.

it's about decision trees. closing out the possibility of combat closes out all the relevant courses of action. remain empty, combat is not the time to run simulations. turn off the forebrain, allow autopilot to select targets and vector lines. ESPECIALLY EXIT LINES. remain in the role of brakeman. know when to call the instinctual you off

God works on a cross I do NOT know what you are talking about ... God works to stop violence like for instance a buddy I knew was trapped and harassed by truckers he could pull over but he went for the gun. His hood flew up. He pulled over and said ... God protected me from shooting that guy, true, sir, but nah God protected the trucker lol. True. God is not for violence. God allows me to resist ... Even though the Bible the correct book on God because if you make it up ... Ehhh ... I don't know, but if you throw away the wisdom of God ... You're in trouble ... So ... A lot of good things out there though a lot of imposters and yes I actually believe in chi chakras but to those people that's God that's not God that's chi abd chakras but I digress ... Believe it God has a way and God will work in your life in violent times God protected me so far and always will ... But God likes zero violence God is different than us in that way yet its still cool you know God made sharks and bears band stuff. But the Bible says don't resist evil people love them ... It says resist evil. Too. Hmm. Can't just do evil. So. What's the balance? I've found proper force is enough force most of the time the people of this world can't hold a candle to someone who fights just because they like it so you'll win. I think maybe that's what he meant ... If you fight just because you enjoy it ... You will probably end up so much better at it than someone who avoids fighting. But even though we may enjoy fighting if we do ... God does not involve fighting as a cool thing in Gods heart of love and fatherly wisdom.

To be fair I know chi and chakras are not uninvolved in God and spirituality they are involved if you want it's really just whose chi and chakras are those if you are into that yours. Yours. So it doesn't matter if that's your spirit or your eternal self or your fleshly self yourself cannot compare to God and yes we are in God in a sense in a sense God is in us not what I mean ... But true. Context.
@davisbarr9112

And ... Its tough. If you do then you do ... But for me if im really doing God's will God may have me protect someone anyway even though God is not for violence but if I'm smart I can show love and mercy some provided I can hold a candle to them I usually can. Obviously a tac team (military) would be too much to lovingly peacefully get around but in most cases that's not the level of the opponent. But even with a tac team ... Don't go for the thing that gets you killed. I had professionals go after me with m4s or ars drones and a robot ... A tac team. They never even were able to engage. Lol. True story but I love those people I meant them no harm they were men of my country and service men. To be honest it was just the swat team. They had to deliver an eviction notice. But they always and its ridiculous they always overestimate me. They actually thought i would hurt them. Over an eviction notice. Of course not. But I think it bothers them they know that I can hurt them and I think that was more apparent ... I showed up in court but no one was able to serve me. Lol. Sorry, I don't like that. Lol. But yeah there are limits. Most of the time though ... It may be ... Well you know you never know. Pray ... Maybe God will give you wisdom. Im a combination of lucky and maybe mostly luck I don't know maybe im good at something we don't know lol. I mean I don't know why people are there I'll show up for court as long as America is a semi just or just country ... But ... I never know what people want unless I ran a red light. I like to know what im getting into. I ... In the past ... I have if I am literally right there I will just stand down. They were being very careful. That's ok ... I was semi careful with them. Lol. But yeah it takes a swat team to not deliver an eviction notice. I'm that guy. Maybe God works that way. Who knows i just try to oppose the devil. You need to watch that. There's a lot of devil in this world ... A lot of people trying to use the devil. That would be something to oppose avoid etc at all costs. That would get you. And them? Yeah ... They are not all team God but even still some are nice. At times. Nope some are team devil. I know they are. Even knowing that I have pretty ok karma they are nice I'm nice. But are they team God oh hell no. Not all of them, no sir. You and I both know they are team 666. We still somehow get along. Good people are still just good people. They just need God.

By the way I follow what you said im more Christian but you are meaning the law of attraction. I'm not as dumb as i look, I'm close. If we are positive positive things will happen. Negative things happen to negative people. So ... If we are negative we reap what we sow. I saw what you did there. That's why sure there are truths ... Sure ... There are morals ... Sure ... There's a God God's favor and disfavor. Sure ... But ... Don't only be negative about those truths ... What that would do is misrepresent God's love positivity and coolness.

You never know what people think that's just my personality I don't deal with some things but no I have never been a person that is ever been to prison I went to jail for some traffic tickets unpaid and on an accusation that I was found innocent on so I don't have any criminal history I do fight criminals just for no reason which isn't legal but I stopped doing that in high school. I don't know if I recommend that for other people anything that you've gone through in your life will seem normal and recommendable to you and that's what makes us individuals and that's what makes us unique but there is no such thing as a training gym when I was grown up and there was no such thing as a training gym before that either as far as for martial arts. For me personally I do think it helped me I think it was better for me but I'm sure that if there had been gems Jim's Jim's then yes I would have used them Jim's hm where you work out a gym where you workout a jim-jim I guess that stuff exists now I don't really even know I just know it didn't The impression that those places when I passed them give me is that it's just totally a mess I don't have a lot of trust for it I still would do it but it's just sad how little experience that I would get and it's sad how little experience that they would happen even the people that people say good things about I know those people and I don't really respect them. But never be surprised you only get out what you put in so if people aren't trying they aren't going to get results and I think that's the case with the gyms that I'm aware of around me there's no experience nobody tries they don't have really anything. But when I was growing up they simply didn't exist But what I recommend street fighting I mean again if someone grows up doing something they think it's the only thing that exists so all I can tell you is that the only thing that exists I can't tell you if it's good or not that's just all I could ever claim is an option so I don't know. I think I went to high school in 94 through 96 and at that time if somebody said that they were good at something that have to do with martial arts and they were not a street fighter they were lying. I learned BJJ and 96 but it wasn't anything to brag about back then it just wasn't very developed but I still learned it I didn't learn it because it was good I learned it because it was exotic and I always further my perspective it turned into being something good but when I learned it it was not good yet it was just something that you could learn and lost to wrestling even sometimes in those days so whatever but now there's no such thing as a gym where people fight there's just a bunch of losers that don't know what they're doing I know the people in the city here that think that they teach Jiu-Jitsu they don't yeah there's nothing really I mean you could go to someplace where they had stuff like that actually had people with experience but if I went to a place like that and I would I can't I always either have money or time I never had both them I'm not a free person I can't do what I want to do I can't just do what I choose to do because it's what I like but if I could I would but those people would just be targets I mean that they wouldn't really be teaching me anything I don't know if I would teach them something I don't know if I would want to teach them something I probably might I mean who knows I probably just for fun just mention it but I don't think that I would teach them I don't think that I would learn very much it would be the same It's interesting that teachers of Cannon are fairly good I would never even want out that Canadians should be allowed in America American Canadians burn churches I mean I've been hearing about how bad that country is I don't think that we should even allow them to come in there I don't think we should allow them out of Canada I think they should have to stay in Canada Obviously this guy knows his name he's pretty level-headed but I think they were so just disgusting I'm disgusted by Canadians I'm disgusted by their leader and I'm disgusted by the people they used to be so nice and they used to be wonderful and respectable and they had a respectable landscape but now they burn churches and they're completely lost I mean I think it's just ridiculous don't even let him out of candidate like build a wall and keep them in Canada don't let them touch the world ... I lost all my respect i have none left for that previously kind community Now that they close churches and the citizens burn churches. They should never be allowed out of Canada with a society like that. I know some would ve innocent abd i am for freedom ... But i am just absolutely done i should move to Canada to turn them into humans and people but they need tp chill in a room and mediate on how much they suck. But my state had a few Good Kung Fu teachers but if you were going to try to learn like grappling you had to basically teach yourself. I went to class. Then ... I taught myself. Thanks KZbin lol. For grappling. It is very hard to find good grappler in my state i don't try the ones people say are good aren't good.
